LEAFS POV:

After Markus got his mom to calm down, she started talking to me about his injury's

She was talking on and on about if my pack doctor, have his some liquid, I mean he gave him a drink that was supposed to remove the spell the witch put on him

I told her no, she looked not convinced, that's when it clicked

She's the witch that put that spell on Markus

I sat up quickly, "Mrs. Beth, I need to talk to you in private" I said, Markus mom looked at me, she knew I knew

"Is it about me? I already said I'm fine I don't feel bad or anything" Markus said, I walked over to him and gave his a kiss on his head

"No love it's something completely different, we'll be back later" I didn't want to make him worry

I look over to Keith, 'I want you to explain to Laken, I marked His brother, I also don't want you letting anyone in the house or around him, understand?' I mind linked Keith, 'yeah yeah i understand, don't let anyone touch your little ball of energy' I squirted at Keith 'I mean it Keith.' 'I know you do, now go'

"This way" I said to Beth leading her towards the door

"What do you want to speak to me about, I know it's not about Markus this time" Beth said when i closed my door

"Come, let's go for a walk" i said, she just glared at me but continued to walk with me

When we where's distance from the house, I looked up at the sky, "I know your the witch who put that spell on my Mate" I said I saw her flinch in the corner of my eye

"And if I am?" She asked

"It's removed, we have 3 hours until it's completely removed" I said, she stopped walking, she looked at the ground

"What are you not telling me?" I asked she let out a sigh

"He's not a wolf shifter" when she said that I glared at her

"Continue" i said turning to face her

"His father wasn't a wolf shifter" she said

"He was a Tiger, A White Tiger, one of the last of his kind" she admitted

"So? So why did you hide it from him?" I asked

She looks up at me, she had tears of pain a grief I'm her eyes, "because I wanted to protect him, his father was killed but wolves who found out about him being a tiger, and last of his kind, I wanted to protect my son! For your kind!" She yelled,

I can't believe a werewolf would do that

" I wanted to make sure my son never died in-front of me like my mate did! And I a horrible mothers for protecting the ones I love?" She asked, she was full on crying, I felt bad

I feel Bad that she had to see her mate be slaughtered in front of her

"No, but that's doesn't mean that lying to him about his father is right, he thinks she could Possibly still be out their" I don't want her to tell him my kind kill his father but it's the right thing to do

"I knew a wolf was his mate, what why i didn't" she says, it was quite but I could hear it

I look down at the ground seeing where her tears fell on to the Dirt Road

"I'm sorry" i said "I'm sorry my kind did that your mate, but let me make this clear, when you tell Markus what happened to his father, and if he still accepts me as his mate, I'll protect him, i swear on the moon goddess herself, that I will never let me be hurt, I will protect him even if that means me dieing, and I give you permission to curse my sole if I fail, the worst curse you can put on me, I allow you to do so" I say

She looked up at me, "you promise?" I Bow down In front of her "I Leaf Spring, Alpha of Willow Creek Pack, Allow you Bethany Black, Witch of The Shadow Clan, To curse me with your deepest desire, if I Ever Fail my Duty in Protecting your Son Markus Black" I say, giving her an opportunity that she shall take.

"I accept." She says, creating bond that ties my faith in her hands

I stand, she shakes her head, "you really are serious about Markus being your mate" she laughs, "being? Oh no he's already bonded to me" I say with a nervous laugh

She looks me dead in the eyes, I feel as if I'm being ripped apart, when her eyes turn into a deadly purple color, "that was the pain you will feel if you hurt him, just it will actually happen" she says

I nod my head in respect of her motherly Bond

We where walking back when I had a sudden, wave of pain hit in my lower legs, I know it isn't my pain, I think back to when I marked Markus I can feel his emotions and his pain

"MARKUS" I growled before shifting into my wolf, Markus mom chasing after me not far behind me actually, I was running full out too

I slammed open the door with Beth right behind me, I see Markus laying on the floor looking really uncomfortable, I don't even change out of my wolf, I run straight to my mate on the floor, I lay down and use my head to push him to sit on me, when he does I stand up carefully, I move him over the the couch carefully

I switch back into my wolf not even think about me flashing, Keith, Laken, and Beth, with a loud gasp, hear a loud *POOf* and I suddenly have cloths on,

I look over to Beth who is looking at Laken, I see Laken scared half out of his mind, with his Legs over Keith's crossed one, "Laken did you just-?" His mom ask, Markus look between his mom and his brother

"I-I think so-?" Laken says, his mom scoffs, Laken just sits right, not saying a word

"Can someone tell me what happened?" Markus ask, his mom and me make eye contact, I nod telling her to tell him everything

"Okay Markus I'm going to tell you some things, it will be a long night" Laken puts his legs back over Keith's

I set next to Markus, his mom sits in the one recliner I have

Than she starts telling him, telling him everything...
