The weekend was to go and enjoy themselves til Monday, but for some work didn't finish or they chose not to end it.
Since starting her new job Courtney got comfortable and fitted in well maybe even too well.

On her first day, she managed to go through all the cases she was given impressing Noah and his legal partner at the firm, who she met eventually sometime that day since she had to be in court for part of the day.
Her name was Emma and she was super strict, pushy and bossy.
She mentioned to Courtney that she applied a few times at her family's firm but was rejected. Sincerely apologizing to her, explaining that when working there she wasn't in charge of hiring but from what she saw in Emma she should have been hired.
Other than that Emma agreed with Noah and congratulated him for finally hiring a good lawyer.

From there throughout the week they had a morning meeting as to how to go about improving, strategizing and managing time to be able to finish cases sooner.
Courtney gave her input on how to be in the courtroom, what to be prepared for, to be sure to discuss and review all information that would be needed during court with the client and lastly go in showing you're not afraid.
She also shared the news with Heather who knew right off the bat she would get the job, along with saying whoever didn't hire her best friend was a fool.
Now with the weekend starting Courtney figured since she already came back from a vacation, and since her new job was closed on weekends she planned on taking some of the cases home to work on as well as come up with more things she could discuss.
