AN: What's going to happen next?
Courtney's POV
2:35 PM
I can't believe this backfired. I'm never letting Heather pick out my clothes for me again, this dress just caused me more problems.
I asked Duncan if I could use his bathroom and pointed it out telling me that it was just down the hallway. His place was huge if I didn't know any better I'd say he had the entire floor with a second level.
Geez this was something.
Once in the bathroom I immediately texted Heather...
Me: Plan backfired and this damn dress of yours is too eye-catching, practically everyone was looking at me
Heather: Well it looked pretty damn hot on you and didn't you want his attention?
Me: Yes but not that much attention!!!!
Heather: Where are you? I thought you would be back in an hour, for us to go out tonight
Me: I'm at his place
Heather: WHAT!!!!
Me: When I mentioned I had a " prior engagement " he got upset and thought I was going on a date with a guy. Now he's cooking for us
Heather: Oh my god...wait are you gonna have sex with him?
Reading her text my eyes open...
Me: No...none of that is going to happen
Heather: Really? Cause your dream said something else
Me: Okay no more talking about that please, I just wanna get out of this date
Heather: Date?? Wait a minute you guys are having a date in his place? My god that dream is gonna be a reality
Me: No it's not
Heather: Listen if you're not in bed with him tonight, then come over and you're gonna tell me everything. This is too much
Me: Oh my god!!! Okay, give me two hours tops. Talk to you in a bit
Sighing heavily I look in the mirror 🪞 shaking my head, " damn it " I breathed before turning the faucet on.

Duncan's POV
Keeping an eye on the pot of water I had on the stove, I continue cutting up other ingredients for a good old-fashioned Pad Thai. Thankfully I had shrimp 🦐 or I would of been screwed.
It's surprising to some but I enjoyed cooking whenever I get the chance plus with all the travelling 🧳 we did over the years.
Asia was my favourite part plus it was a lot of fun. The food most of all, practically everywhere we went we tried something different but when we got to Japan and Thailand it was awesome.
But aside from making sure I didn't screw this up, I was also dealing with guys calling me, who we're currently on speaker...
