The Characters

Lyla

Lyla is a young and popular high school student. She is always accompanied by her two best friends, Jasmine and Clement. Quite tenacious, she has a strong personality and a good sense of justice, which sometimes pushes her to get involved in situations that don't concern her... Lyla's heroic side stems from her passion for comic and video game heroes, which she shares with her brother, Alex. She is frank, generous, and definitely interests boys at her school, but there aren't many that interest her... And yet, she will meet the man who will turn her life upside down in a classroom.

Jasmine
The best friend

Jasmine is a young, refined and elegant student, who's always interested in talking about music, and mainly Jay. Naturally shy, she is the perfect example of a studious student, but she isn't lost in her books. Jasmine has a real passion for fashion, which she loves to share with Lyla, her best friend. The complicity she has with her two friends counts enormously for her, and she wouldn't do anything to hurt their trio... So, how to react when feelings other than those of friendship appear?

Clement is part of the trio. Inseparable from Lyla since elementary school, the young man is one of the people who knows her the best. Unlike his two friends, Clement isn't the perfect student and gets bored in class easily. He likes sports, and particularly basketball, which he is rather good at. He likes to entertain his entourage, even if he involuntarily causes uncontrollable fits of laughter. Clement actually enjoys poking fun at Jasmine about her idol, but would really like to occupy just as much space in her heart...

Henri
The man who doesn't want to fall in love, but...

Henri is the new kid in school. Very reserved, he seems to prefer books and science fiction comics to his social circle. The young man is a cellist and dreams of being a writer. A good student and teacher's pet, he is the target for some bullies in school; which doesn't get past Lyla, our heroin, who would do anything to help him. Rather solitary, Henri will learn little by little to open up, until he ends up feeling certain things that definitely weren't part of his perfectly thought out plan. What nobody knows, is that Henri is more than a geek hiding behind a pair of glasses...

Jessica

Jessica is THE pest of the class. She hates Lyla and never misses an occasion to make an unkind remark. Her favorite hobbies? To bad mouth, criticize and belittle others to make herself look good and get attention. She despises those who she doesn't consider to be at her social level, starting with Henri. She likes to please men, and doesn't hide it.

Jay

Jay is a superstar who broke through a little over two years ago. His arrogant attitude and charisma attract mainly young followers, even if his music is more... rock and roll! Jay is the perfect charmer and knows how to set the stage on fire, but he does prefer to keep his private life private. Behind his rock star attitude and his very bold makeup hides a secretive and reserved young man.
