I lean on the counter scrolling on my phone as i wait for the microwave to stop
"janae" i hear my bsf lana says walking into the kitchen
i stand up turning around seeing her leaning on the door frame
"your girlfriend and her little friends are coming over" she gives me a knowing smirk and i roll my eyes
"she's not my damn girlfriend" i say and turn back to the microwave hearing it beep
"y'all really think y'all sneaky too, leaving classes at the same time and shit" she chuckles behind me
jabrea and I have been spending a lot of time together since the interaction in the car
she's still an ass at school but she's lightened up a little
we usually hang out at either of our houses and i can honestly say i enjoy her company
i open the microwave ignoring her as i grab the noodles trying my best not to spill it and burn myself
i hear the doorbell as i'm in the middle of removing the noodles
lana squeals behind me making me cringe hearing her retreating steps
i hear chatter coming from the living room area but i ignore it focusing on not burning myself
"i smell noodles" i hear someone say making my eyes go wide
i quickly hide my noodles between two boxes of kraft before grabbing my phone
i make my way outside the kitchen toward the living room
i look around seeing Jabrea's friends but no sign of jabrea
i sit down on the couch next to lana before getting back onto my phone
"where's your girlfriend" one of jabrea's friends asks making me look up at him
"she's not my girlfriend, and i thought y'all would've known where she was" i raise an eyebrow at him
"why would we know, we not the ones licking her coochie" another friend speaks up making me huff
