Arabella in her pristine ash-green uniform stood at the gate. Her loose curls fell on her shoulders. Tears flooded her eyes, The queen bee 'Valentina' the worker bees 'Raquel', and 'Necolasa' cornered her.
"What were you thinking, when you told maestro about us?"Valentina snapped, "Do you think you are a princess, you're just a fat pig who only eats, look at yourself in the mirror. Fatty!" She kicked mud at Arabella's face.

"Can't you see yourself, we're not lying when we call you fat" Necolasa snarled. Raquel tried to hold her but she shrugs her off.

Arabella felt like disappearing from there, the more anyone commented on her body, the more she felt insecure and locked herself inside her house.
She was impotent against these girls, she could only let her ears bleed as they absorb every word about her ugliness.
Arabella was 15 years old, 143 pounds, and 167 cm.
People once called her big foot. Various other names she'd rather cut her ear than hear those names.

Arabella's pupils dilated at the sight of a serrated razor that was in Valentina's hand. Her breaths came out as Shaky shallow gasps, and her chest rises and falls rapidly the fear paralyzed her body.
She knew the school was empty, even her voice would reach no one If she shouts, instead making it worse.

"I apologize Valentina. I'll do whatever you all say. Spare me" she cried.

"No, Arabella. You need a little makeover today. I would love to make these chubby cheeks flat" Valentina carried the razor to her lips. "And make your lips plumpy".

Valentina raises her arm in an attempt to fulfill her deed.

Arabella closes her eyes shut.

"STOP!" Raquel and Necolasa say in unison.

They both hold Valentina from each arm as she wriggles to free herself.

"Do you want us to get expelled?" Raquel tried to put some sense in crazy Valentina's head.
"But because of this damn pig, Mr.Alonso lashed at me for the first time. What will he think of me?". Valentina had a huge crush on their math teacher since last year. He was their class teacher this year, she had to complain because Necolasa threatened to shave her head if she does not do their maths assignment.
"Just run away, pig, or you desperately want flat cheeks and plumpy lips" Raquel orders the paralyzed Arabella.

Arabella begs every muscle in her body to move, she sprints away from them. To be far out of sight. To be out of reach. To be safe.

She unlocked the door and came inside.

"Cariño, why are you crying?" Arabella's mother, asked "Why is your hair a mess?" She reaches her hand to touch her, but Arabella dashed to her room.

Arabella ignored her mother's calls, her voice had a hint of pain.

The woman called her husband and requested to come home as early as possible, she couldn't bear to see her only daughter in such a state.
The sun said goodbye to the human world leaving the most beautiful hues of orange and red in the sky.

"Cariño" The woman knocked on her daughter's door. "Dinner is ready". No response.
"Please, tell your mother what's wrong?" She broke down into tears and Arabella opened the door, her eyes were bloodshot and puffy. She hugged the girl and whispered, "Are you being bullied?".

"Yes," she whimpered.
"For what?" Arabella's mother ran her hand across her wavy black hair.

"I'm fat and ugly". The words came out as a sob.

"For me, you're the most beautiful girl, cariño" She puts the locks falling on her face behind her ear. "You should not let such insignificant people affect your life, More than beauty what matters is a beautiful heart. Become a girl so sweet and kind that your mere words heal the broken, you are special, you are worthy and you deserve all the happiness in the world." She put her forehead on hers. "Abuela used to tell me, 'Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it".

"We will get your school changed" A man with freckles and a beard popped up amidst their therapy session.
Arabella was glad to hear it.
