Things at the burrow were as usual. The Weasleys' pace of life had remained the same since Hermione had met them. The only thing that varied was the number of members, which luckily increased.

After Fred's death, good things came to this sweet family.

Bill and Fleur were expecting their first baby and that kept Molly upbeat and happy. The loss of her son had affected her terribly, as was to be expected. Percy was engaged to a very nice girl named Audrey, and George was dating Angelina Johnson, Fred's ex, and apparently the courtship could end in marriage.

When Hermione arrived, she, as always, was very well received by everyone. Including Ron, who had taken a vacation from his quidditch team, who was his current occupation until he finished his auror studies, which He shared with Harry.

Ron is moved by her when he sees her again, because even though he had to forcefully accept that she didn't want to continue their relationship, he still loved her. And he knew that this wasn't a secret to her.

His parents had suggested that he try to win her back but he did not want to pressure or invade her and that is why the days that she was there, he would try to get closer to her subtly.

As usual, Ginny and Hermione would share the redhead's room every time they were in the burrow. the room free for a couple of hours to further strengthen their intimacy that only some weekends they had been able to develop, sometimes there and others at Harry's house.

Ginny had also told her that their sexual encounters had greatly improved after her experience with Snape. She had instructed him very well on how to please her and Harry was an excellent apprentice.

Obviously Harry was surprised by his girlfriend's skill in her bed but she never confessed to him who had trained her in that area. That would always be a secret.

Hermione sighs as she remembers Severus and the last thing they said to each other. The distance would bring calm but upon returning everything would arise again. Her feelings for him were already uncontrollable and she found it very difficult to be without him. But she would have to get used to the fact that soon that would happen.

She would stay with the Weasleys for only a week and she would try not to think about him so much, but it was the one task she knew she would fail badly at.

The first night passed quickly. Both friends stayed talking until very late in the morning, and although it was surprising it was something they didn't do at Hogwarts, because since Hermione spent time with Snape, she had left a little aside, and without bad intentions, to Ginny. Which obviously noticed the distance from her but she attributed it to the fact that the potionist had abandoned them and that saddened her friend. Because that's what her chestnut had told her, that she also had the same fate as hers.

One day later Harry arrived and the house was already complete. As Molly knew how to say.

At last the golden trio was reunited again and they could catch up on their friendship. They shared the whole day together, walking, chatting and even made a little visit to Diagon Alley to buy some gifts.

Hermione was tempted, more than once, to buy one for Snape, but in the shops they had visited she had not found the perfect gift for him. Until when she passed through a jewelry store, she saw in a small window where they exhibited men's accessories, the ideal complement for Severus.

It was a gold-colored jacket lapel brooch with two intertwined snakes that had emerald green eyes. And she, as soon as she saw it, was fascinated by it.

She had never seen Snape in a suit, for his frock coat and cloak was his trademark, but the brooch was majestic and elegant. So, taking advantage of a distraction from her friends, she entered the store to purchase said accessory.
