Stephen received a call the day before Janette's life was going to be taken, it was an unknown person, Stephen answered it, "Stephen Louis, one of the best surgeons in the city who's also involved in organ trafficking am I wrong? Should I tell them? the truth you've been hiding? What do you think will happen if I do? Your image as a doctor will shatter apart, You've worked so hard on your image, building it with lies carefully one by one." said the unknown man on the call, Stephen's hidden truth had been discovered, he was scared that if everyone knew he'd lose his almost perfect picture. "What do u want?" Stephen said, "Meet me at night, and if u don't you'll see the outcome," said the unknown man as he declined, and he gave the location where Stephen had to come at night. Stephen was willing to do anything to protect his image.
He left early from work that day and reached the location, he was alone it was empty and shady, when Stephen got a call it was the same number, "Listen well your whole career depends on it after all, tomorrow night stay at the hospital late in the night, there will be a nurse in the building, keep an eye on her, leave when she does, follow her and make sure the camera's outside the building captures you following her after that, you can go home and perhaps you fail to do so, you know what happens then right?" The unknown man said, "What do I get in return?" Said Stephen, "Money, isn't that what you thrive for in the end?" The unknown man replied as he declined. Just then some men handed a bag over to Stephen and drove off, Stephen opened it to see bundles of cash, he had gotten all that he needed, money.
The next day, Stephen did what he was told, it was late at night, he stayed at the hospital and didn't leave at his usual time, Janette was working at her desk, it seemed like she was finished with her work and was heading out, he was wearing a black hoodie covering his face as he followed her out, just till where the unknown man had told him to. Stephen returned back home, thinking not much of it. He thought it was over only to find out he was wrong. Everything was going well days passed by until one morning when he was walking to work, he passed by the crime scene of Janette, he was scared and thought that the police will surely check the footage and that he'll be framed. In a hurry he moved out, he was planning to leave the country. But he couldn't, he knew it was wrong he had no choice he would get caught anyways, he decided to tell the police everything. It was the evening the sun was already setting, he finally made up his mind and called a taxi. Stephen sat in the back seat, "where would you like to go?" The driver politely asked, "Take me to the police station" Stephen said in a hurry. The driver started driving but as they were on the way Stephen noticed that he wasn't taking him to the police station. The man driving looked back at Stephen saying,
"Stephen Louis, one of the best surgeons in the city who's also involved in organ trafficking am I wrong?"
"This sentence seems familiar don't u think so?"
