The sun rose, a new day began. Bruce was panicking cause the date was still unknown, Sebastian was looking at every single picture taken from the crime scene. Nyla replied in a chill tone, Bruce walked up to her, looking at her as if he had seen a ghost. "How are you so chill? As the video ended. It was a mystery what happened to her that evening, Nyla took a deep breath before saying, "The girl bullied had suicided the same night, the body was found in a disturbing state, she had wounds all over her body, she was raped, petrified. The students who did this to her were later suspended yet they still denied against their ruthless actions, this was my case. I was handling it at that time." Nyla said she felt immense regret. Nyla realized the biggest detail she had missed a year ago, that poor girl hadn't been given justice after all. Maybe it was time to get to the bottom of the case, for her. But what connection did that case have with this one? Nyla didn't know yet. "Bruce, did you ask all the kids that day?" Nyla asked him. "Yes, I did. except one girl, who was absent that day due to being sick. Her name I remember was, Jia Yun." Bruce said showing a picture of the student, Nyla looked at it immediately recognizing her. Jia Yun was seen in multiple pictures along with Hannah, They were the best of friends. Nyla couldn't help but notice, that Jia's social media accounts didn't have a single post with Hannah, nor did Jia follow her. Nyla kept looking at her picture, thinking that she looked familiar. Had they met before? Nyla grabbed her coat "Send me her location" She said to Bruce before leaving, Jia definitely knew something. It was a small building, rats roamed around. "Jia had been living like this?" Nyla asked herself, as she knocked on the door to her tiny apartment. There was no answer, was she not home? It seemed so. Nyla left the building, wondering where she was, When she saw a girl crossing the road it seemed like she wasn't paying attention. A bus was coming right at her, Nyla immediately raced to her pulling her away in a flash. Her heart racing fast, the student was safe. Nyla was relieved, "Student, are you okay? What were you thinking? You almost got killed!" Nyla said, the student didn't reply. Nyla took a look at her before realizing who she was, Jia Yun... Nyla took her to a cafe nearby, ordering her some food. Jia looked as if she hadn't slept for days. "Hey...I'm sorry for what happened to Hannah, you must be devastated right?" Said Nyla with pity. Yet Jia didn't reply. "Right, you must be sad" said Nyla. Jia wouldn't say a word about Hannah, time was ticking and Nyla needed answers but that seemed impossible as of now. Jia stared at her coffee, when Nyla noticed a wound on her face "Who did this to you?" Asked Nyla. "It was an accident" Jia said, finally she spoke. "I see, About Hannah do you have any information about her? You two were friends, right?" Asked Nyla. Jia remained silent, she wasn't willing to answer any questions about Hannah. Nyla decided to ask her something else, "Do you know her?" She asked Jia showing her a picture of the student who got bullied a year ago. No response again. Nyla decided to not ask any further questions, "Drink your coffee, don't worry about paying" Nyla Told her. As she got up to leave when Jia spoke "N-Nari" Nyla was puzzled Jia knew her, "Right Nari what do you know about her?" She asked. "I..i..failed to save her" Said Jia Tears fell down her face, when Nyla remembered who she exactly was... A year ago Nyla asked her the same question "Do you know her?" Jia broke down pleading Nyla to save Nari, yet no one believed how serious the situation was back then. "No, you can save her. If you tell me everything right now, you want justice for her, right? Then give her justice." Nyla said to Jia waiting for her to open up. When Jia explained everything, "Me and Nari were friends back then, No one knew about the bullying not even me. But one day I caught the students bullying her, I confronted Nari about it but she said it would be over. But as the days passed by it only got worse, that evening I caught them bullying her again, Nari had begged me not to get involved so I didn't say a word, I wanted to help her and that's when I came for help to you but it was too late by then.. Nari had seen the video that went viral, She couldn't take it any more. I met her on a rooftop that night. Her hands had wounds, she was beaten up. Nari was standing on the edge of the roof, I ran after her but It was too late. I couldn't save her..." Jia explained breaking down in tears just like that day one year ago. Nyla showed her the video of Nari, "Do you know the student's name's?" Asked Nyla. "Yes." Jia said. She was present that evening when Nari was getting bullied, Nyla pointed out the shadow of the 5th student, asking Jia who she was. "I remember her the most, She tortured Nari the most, made her life a living nightmare. She burned her arms right in front of me, but I couldn't do anything. When I heard she had gotten away from her sins, I wanted revenge. So I purposely got close to her, My plan was working. I wanted her to be tortured, my hatred for her rose day by day. Her name was...Hannah Emerson." Jia explained everything. "What?.." Nyla froze upon hearing Hannah's name. "I have proof, I spent a year collecting it" Jia said with a smile, her plan did work. Showing Nyla everything.
Watching it, Nyla's heart broke. She was swallowed by guilt and remorse. Taking a deep breath Nyla stood there alone, processing everything.
The video started playing, "You bitch." Hannah said slapping Nari, "You need to learn a lesson don't you?" She said grabbing a hair straightener, putting it next to her face. Burning her skin in multiple places, the students took chances to torture her. They didn't give her a chance to breathe. They laughed at her misery. Leaving her Bleeding at the end of the day. Not a day went by when Nari wasn't bullied Before Nari decided to end her misery herself.
"Nari that bitch, I'm glad she killed herself or else I would've killed her myself." The recorder had captured Hannah's voice.
After a year, today this case was finally solved. Jia who stood up for her friend when she couldn't. The harsh truth was discovered and Nari was finally given the Justice she deserved.
