I trapsed into my maths class sighing as I flung my bag on the table. He wasnt here yet. I sat down and unwillingly took out my books. I suddenly felt a pain in my eye, of course my mascara had flaked and now I looked like I was winking at every single boy in the class. I grabbed my mirror out from my pocket and inspected the source of pain. If there was one thing I liked about my appearance it was my eyes. They were bright, emerald green, just like my dads. I removed the contaminant from my eyeball and started mopping up the tears that had escaped from my eyes. That's when I heard him.

"Crying already Alli?"

His voice was deeper than I remembered but it still made me feel happy inside. I looked up and was shocked to see him standing there. I felt like my jaw had literally hit the floor, this was not the person I was expecting to see.

"Stop catching flies" he said as he lifted my chin and smiled. God he was gorgeous.

"Kit?" I asked. I hadn't really kept in contact with him over summer he had been away on 'work experience'. I know when he lies. The boy that I remembered from last year had short straight hair, which was never out of place. His skin was smooth without any stubble, he always shaved. He wore a smart blazer before, and didn't show any sign of a muscular body under the tight school shirts.

But in front of me now was a completely different person. His hair was long and curly, paired with a healthy amount of stubble around his chin and under his nose. He wore a leather jacket and he had grown at least a foot. Even though he wore the same shirt, I could definitely see some abs in there. What the hell happened?

I must have been gawking because he spoke again,

"Like what you see?" he joked.

I'm not going to lie I kind of did.

"What happened to you?" I replied

"I'm guessing that's a no then?"

"I'm not obliged to answer that question I'm afraid" I pointed out sarcastically.

He grinned and chuckled. That made a hundred butterflies swoop about in my tummy. I was not ready for this today.

"How was your summer?" He asked, pulling his maths books out of his bags. He had defineltely been lifting over summer.

"Obviously not as productive as yours". I wasn't meant to say that out loud. I nervously laughed. Kit found this hysterical for what reason I don't know.

"God I missed you".

"Really?"

"Yeah!" There go the butterflies again. He looked at me with his smoldering eyes. They were so mysterious.

"I forgot how green your eyes were" he pointed out. I felt myself blushing which made him chuckle even more.I bowed my head trying not to turn into a member of the tomato family.

Our maths teacher by this point had walked into the room. He was an interesting guy. But sometimes he would drone on and on and on and on and on and on about how he was engineer. To which Kit always commented "Here we go again". Today was no different.

As the double period went on Kit talked about his summer and what he did. Apparently he had a new acting job that was going to be his big break.

We were told to pack up and I started to reassemble my bag pulling out bits and pieces as I did.

"Won't you tell me what it is?" I asked

"Ehhh..."

"Cmon" I teased nudging him as I pulled out my book. He looked at it with a forrowed brow.

"An interesting read. A Game of Thrones?" He asked quizzically.

"I'm rereading, its my favorite series by far" I told him. Almost too enthusiastically.

The bell rang and we walked to the door. He was in all my classes this year but I knew other girls would be drooling over him in they classes. It made me annoyed, Kit was probably the only guy I could talk to without feeling nervous. I could be myself around him.

"You still haven't told me about your summer" he said.

"It wasn't that interesting. I worked a lot, went out a lot, read a lot. Just the usual".

We were the first to arrive in our chemistry class he sat down and pulled out the chair next to him, a gesture for me to sit next to him.

"Don't mind if I do" I said

He chuckled again. This year was going to be interesting.
