Alice's P.O.V.

It was the day of the Game Of Thrones party and I had arrived early for soundchecks and to make sure the band were all certain on our small set list for the night. The party was at a huge, stately mansion.
When you first walked in there was a massive greeting room, marble pillars were lined up like soldiers on each side of the hall, a massive winding staircase was placed at the opposite end of the room. Off to the right was a cloakroom and a small bar area, with a a place for photographs. On the left side there was a narrow corridor that led you to the dining area. The dining area had ceilings that reached the heavens, chandeliers hung gracefully from the ceiling radiating particles of light all around the room. There was a small stage set up for speeches and in front of it was about twenty tables that sat about 10 people each. Each table had enough cutlery for five courses each, crystal wine glasses stood tall and proud, floral centerpieces added some color and some class to the very posh table setting. As you moved upstairs there were separate rooms for me and my band to get ready in and a balcony that overlooked the entire dancefloor/meeting area. Outside the landscape stretched out as fields of green grass. Neat rows of flowers were planted to create borders. Fountains sprung up on every side, ornate cherubs, mermaids, conch shells and flowers also carved from marble. It was the perfect definition of a fairytale house.

During my soundcheck David and Dan walked in and stood an watched, I assumed they had to talk to me about something. I finished my soundcheck and headed down to meet them.

"Hey" I said, skipping towards them in my pyjama bottoms and oversized jumper.

"You might want to get changed before you perform tonight" David said cheekily, I punched him on the arm and scoffed.

"Well duhh" I said.

"So a little birdie told us that you were reunited with Kit last night" Dan said, grinning smugly at me.

"Oh yeah, at least I won't be as awkward tonight though" I chuckled nervously

"Well we just wanted to make sure you were okay to perform tonight, we know there's history between you two and we didn't want you to be uncomfortable" Dan said as David nodded in agreement.

"I'll be fine, seriously, performing is what I do" I grinned reassuring them. They walked off finalizing some last minute details. I headed upstairs to start getting ready, Kailyn couldn't come tonight so I just had to glam myself up. I was told it was going to be a very classy evening, cocktail dresses, smart suits etc. I decided to ditch the dress idea and wear a midi pale blue skirt with a matching blazer and a white crop top underneath. I added some delicate silver jewellery and decided to wear some white high heeled sandals.

I had a shower and washed myself with a potion of body washes, creams and lotions. I came out smelling like a fruit salad. I had tanned the day before so my skin now had a nice bronzy glow. I pottered for a bit, writing some songs and eating some food. I dried my hair and then started my makeup, making my skin glowy with plenty of highlighter, adding a small amount of blush and bronzerm I added a soft rosey shade on my lids, filled in my eyebrows added some falsies and finished it with a soft pink lip. I decided to style my hair into big bouncy curls and make it look very glamorous and voluminous. When I had finished glammimg myself it was 6pm, the guests were arriving at 6:15pm and I was performing at 6:30pm. I quickly put on my outfit and started to do my warm ups for my vocals. I heard a knock on my door and saw my full band standing there ready to go. They went on without me, I just needed a minute. I took a deep breath and reminded myself why I do this. I gave myself a final spritz of perfume and walked out onto the landing of the stair case. I could see people that were still arriving at the door, but I immediately spotted Kit, leaning next to a pillar talking to some fellow cast mates. Since it was a classy night I had decided to keep most of my performances acoustic. Everyone gave a round of applause when I came on and that was my que to start my performance. I started to sing Should've Been Us which I had sung last night on the chat show. I followed it with a rendition of Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing, then another song I wrote called You Don't Really Know Me. It was really unusual for me to perform in front of the cast because I had known them for so long, they were really quiet, not like the usual crowds that are jumping and screaming and trying to climb over the barrier. It meant I could hear myself more than usual and I could get into the song more and put more emotion into it. I loved it.
