Why are there so many muggle hating bitches?

The next day the Gryffindor's and the Slytherins were having transfiguration, yet they couldn't shake what happened yesterday. The twins especially didn't know how to feel about the whole situation.

"Could I have your attention, please? Right. Now, today, we will be transforming animals into water goblets."

Jocelyn looked at Draco with a confused looked as he shook his legs anxiously. When he noticed her looking her just smiled slightly, shrugging at her silent question about if he was ok.

Minnie started to perform the spell making the two best friend turn their attention back on her "Like so. One, two, three, Vera Verto. Now it's your turn. Who would like to go first?" She had just turned to a bird resting on a post to her right, tapping it with her wand as she speaks. This made a stream of magic emit from her wand, and the bird becomes a goblet; the other students express amazement.

That is before Minnie walks over to Ron "Ah! Mr. Weasley. One, two, three, Vera Verto."

Ron clears his throat before pulling out his broken wand that made Jocelyn chuckled slightly at. "Vera Verto." his wand causes Scabbers to turn into a furry goblet with his tail moving around while squeaking; The twins and some of the other students grin and laugh.

"Loser" Draco muttered getting a small smack from Jocelyn making him quietly groan in pain. Theo and Blaise who were sitting behind them laughed slightly at his misfortune, while Jocey just rolled her eyes at them.

Professor McGonagall raised her eyebrow in slight dissatisfaction "That wand needs replacing, Mr. Weasley." Hermione soon raises her hand "Yes, Ms. Granger?"

"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets." Draco and Jocey give Hermione a surprised look, she wasn't the type to interrupt a lesson.

"Yea, how come no one's ever heard of it before?" Theo asked the women making her sigh before she answered.

"Very well. Well, you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Now three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniously. One did not."

Ron snorted slightly before turning to Harry who was sitting next to him "Three guesses who." The bespectacled boy rolled his eyes playfully at his best friend.

Professor McGonagall continued on with her explanation "Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, pure-bloods. Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school."

"Well good fucking riddance" Blaise muttered to his friends making them laugh slightly.

"Why did he think that would work?" Jocelyn asked making Draco look at her confused.
