Kanae Kocho is the former Flower Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, known as the "Flower breathing". She is a talented and experienced warrior who wields a powerful flower-based breathing technique, which she uses to effortlessly cut through demons with a single swing of her blade. Her quick reflexes and sharp instincts make her a formidable opponent in battle, but despite her fierce reputation, she is known for her empathy and kindness towards her fellow demon slayers. She has a soft spot for animals and a love for flowers that reflects her gentle nature. Despite her talent and experience, Kanae's past experiences as a demon slayer and her time as a Hashira have left her with a deep sense of regret, which she struggles to move past. Despite her kind + quiet and reserved persona, Kanae is a loyal and dependable ally who always has the back of those she cares about. In battle, she is a force to be reckoned with and any demon who faces her will soon learn to fear the "Flower breathing".

Kanae Kocho is a high-ranked member of the Demon Slayer Corps also know as a hashira. She is a short, slender woman with long, wavy hair that falls past her shoulders, and she typically wears the purple haori robe of a Demon Slayer. Kanae is an excellent fighter, and her sword skill is unmatched. She is known for her quick, precise strikes and her ability to dodge and counter-attack.

Kanae is also fiercely protective of her family, including her younger sister Shinobu, who also joins the Demon Slayer Corps. She is the head of the Kocho household and takes her duty as protector seriously. Despite her tough exterior, Kanae is a loving and caring member of her community, always looking out for those around her. In combat, she is fearless and unrelenting, and her determination to protect those in need is an inspiration to her fellow Demon Slayers.

Flower Breathing originally has at least 7 techniques, 5 known techniques including the Final Form.

Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum     -The user releases several rotating sword slashes that deflects incoming physical attacks.

Fourth Form: Crimson Hanagoromo         - The user unleashes single sword slash that curves and twists gracefully.

Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility          - The user unleashes a flurry of nine consecutive attacks that flow and weave in on themselves.

Sixth Form: Whirling Peach           - A technique used after or during evasion, the user spins around moving with their body weight to deliver an attack.

Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye            - A focusing technique that raises the user's kinetic vision to its maximum, while using this technique the user perceives the world as if it were in slow motion. Usage of the technique, however, is highly dangerous, as the tremendous strain on the eyes could cause blood vessels to rupture and lead to partial or complete blindness.[6] This technique is still usable even if the user only has one fully functional eye.[7]
