"Oui, Merci Beaucoup." A brunette woman said sitting at the bar of an extremely chic Parisian hotel. The glass of wine she had ordered was placed in front of her almost instantly. She took a sip, it was delicious but then again she was in France. She peered around the bar and it seemed fairly quiet but it was only a Monday evening. As she turned back to face the bar, she spotted a large group of people wander in, they seemed animated and were clearly having a good time. She smiled, she was having a good time wasn't she? In a plush hotel in one of the most romantic cities in the world... alone.

A man approached the bar and ordered multiple drinks, he was tall, and rather handsome, and spoke with a British accent. He saw her looking and smiled sweetly, which she returned before noticing his wedding band and sighing. Another married man, she sure could pick them couldn't she?

As the group's drinks were made she saw a tattooed arm reach out to grab one of the glasses of wine, it was heavily inked right down to the hand, said hand had rings on every finger, it was an interesting look to say the least. As she looked up, she saw who the arm belonged too. None other than Johnny Depp. Her eyes widened as he turned and his eyes caught with hers, she smiled sweetly before looking down at her drink, she could feel her cheeks blushing and hoped he hadn't noticed. After all, he was the Johnny Depp.

30 minutes or so later, as she took another sip of wine. She was handed a menu by the barman. "Non Merci.. I refuse to eat alone." She smirked preferring the wine to dinner. "No lady should ever have to dine alone." she heard from behind her, and elegantly turned on the bar seat. Her eyes widened as she saw Johnny approach. She smiled "No man should either. Especially in Paris." She said sweetly making him smile. "You like the city?" "Like. I love. I would live here if I could." "You don't?" He asked approaching the space beside her and leaning on the bar. "Sadly not. I visit a lot for business, but no I don't live here." "Well that's a shame. Maybe one day. What sort of business are you here on?" "Ha, that's a funny story. This trip wasn't actually meant to be business. This is a romantic week away... can you not tell?" The woman said with a hint of sarcasm making Johnny smirk. "Romantic as in, dining and drinking alone?" "Yes. It's the ultimate fairytale. Surely you've seen the movies right? Girl wandering round Paris alone, doing all the touristy things she's planned for months by herself only to return to the hotel and get plastered every evening?" She said giggling as she lifted her wine glass and took a sip. Johnny chuckled "I must have missed that rom com, I'll see if I can stream it somewhere." "Don't bother, you can witness it here live." She said giggling, she could hardly believe she was conversing with Johnny Depp let alone talking about her tragic holiday. "I'm Johnny." He held out his hand which she took and shook before he lent in and kissed both her cheeks. "I'm Annabelle." He smiled "Enchanté." "The pleasure is all mine Mr Depp." "Please call me Johnny. Can I get you another if you're planning on getting plastered?" "Well this is only my first, so I think we've got a little while before I'm plastered but yes that would be wonderful thank you." He smiled and beckoned the barman over ordering the round of drinks for his group and Annabelle. "So you're really here alone?" He asked whilst waiting for the drinks. "Yep, arrived yesterday, I fly back to London on Sunday." "Wow." "Yep.. but hey, I have the whole suite to myself so I can't complain!" "I feel like Paris has let you down." "Paris hasn't let me down...." "Then who?" "A guy who I thought possibly could be the one.. I found out last week he's married!" Johnny's eyes widened "and you didn't know?" "I don't date married guys Mr Depp. I'm not a home wrecker." Johnny held his hands up in defence "No neither do I." "What, you don't date married guys?" "Or women." He smirked, handing her the glass of wine the barman just put in front of him. "Thank you." "You're welcome. I hope it shows you that not all men are completely inadequate." "Johnny, I don't think you've ever been inadequate." "Oh really?" He smirked "You're the hottest guy in Hollywood. Any and every woman has a crush on you, and if they say they don't, they are lying." "And you?" Annabelle blushed, she hoped it was the wine getting to her but she knew deep down it wasn't. "What about me?" She said quietly running her fingertips up and down the stem of the large wine glass. "Do you have a crush on me?" She bit her lip and paused looking at him. They maintained eye contact for what felt like forever. "Maybe you should try and find out." She said seductively before taking a sip of wine.

He smiled and took a step closer to her before a very chic woman approached disturbing them "J, we thought you might need some help with the drinks?" She was tall, elegant and had a great sense of style. Johnny smiled at her finally tearing his eyes away from Annabelle "Sure, sorry Gina, here's yours and Stephen's, I'll be over in a moment." The woman took the drinks and left again leaving Annabelle and Johnny staring at one another.

This is an idea that came to me over the past few days. I'm not sure how long it will be or how it will go, but let me know if you're interested in reading more. 💜
