The weather reflected Annabelle's mood. She was lying in her bed in the suite of the chic Parisian hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. She had awoken around 5am and hadn't been able to fall back to sleep despite being awake until gone midnight. Johnny's arm was tightly round her middle spooning her as she watched the rain hit the balcony doors and run down the glass panes. It was dark, stormy, moody, and it was an exact visual of how she felt inside, this week had changed her. Not just by meeting Johnny Depp a famous actor, but her views, her opinions, her approach to life. He had opened something within her that she never wanted to close. For so long she had always been the good stiff upper lip lady, the woman who always held everyone to the biggest and highest standards, and look how she had ended up. Sleeping with a married man for nigh on 6 months without even knowing. The sad reality was that, she really believed that Dan could have been the one too. Now on holiday, she had met a man who made her feel like a goddess, and worshiped her how she imagined only women in movies were worshiped.

Today she was leaving for London. She always knew this moment would come but earlier on in the week, it felt like it would never arrive. They had shared such glorious times together, and now it would all come to an abrupt end. She was under no illusions that Johnny had to get on with his life, and whatever was promised here in the moment may not be fulfilled with no fault on either of them. Holiday romances were exactly that, little romantic flings that probably wouldn't survive the real world so not only was she grieving and suffering with holiday blues, she would be mourning a wonderful 6 days with the only man that had made her feel, anything other than the norm.

A loud clap of thunder startled her from her thoughts and she felt Johnny snuggle closer to her, his arm that was draped across her bare tummy pulled her in close. "I'll keep you safe." He muttered into her shoulder blade. His nose was in her hair and she felt him sniff it. He had commented a few times on her scent and she secretly loved how much he liked it. "I know you will." Annabelle muttered. He heard her though. "So you trust me?" "Yes... why wouldn't I?" She asked quietly. "No reason. I just want you to keep that faith in me. It's not going to be easy over the next few weeks. People don't usually start relationships and then fuck off on a European tour." Annabelle rolled in his arms and faced him. His eyes opened. "No they don't... but that being said, are we in a relationship?" Johnny's eyebrows furrowed. "I thought we were? You said you were my girl." "I am.." she said smiling barely believing it herself. "Then I'm your guy?" Annabelle nodded before Johnny kissed her. "I swear I'll make it up to you doll. Just bare with me ok?" She nodded. "I've got a busy few weeks anyway, moving, my birthday, and then you're in London so it will come round fast." "Exactly... I swear I'll make time that weekend ok?" Annabelle nodded before returning the kiss.

Hours later, Annabelle was in her suite finishing her packing when there was a knock on the door, she opened it and was greeted by Johnny. "I thought I was coming to your suite at 2:30?" "You were meant to be, but I missed you too much." Annabelle smiled. He was sweet, sentimental and she was sure not many people knew that. "Give me two seconds and I'll be ready." She ran off to the bedroom and he heard a bang, so he made his way to the bedroom area, when he arrived at the doorway he saw she had yanked her large case off the bed and was wheeling it close to the suite door. "The bellboy is coming to take my luggage to a private chauffeured car that I'm guessing you kindly provided. They've told me not to stress about a thing. I'm guessing I have you to thank for this special treatment?" Johnny smirked before nodding "I wanted you to have some comfort. Sorry if I overstepped." "No not at all. Thank you, I do appreciate it." She kissed him softly on the lips. The rain was still pouring down, and tarnished the view she had grown to love over the past week from her balcony. Johnny wrapped his arms round her waist before pulling back. "I'm really gonna miss you doll." "Oh come on, you'll hardly notice I'm not around. You're going to be with your guys remember? The best band ever... you won't even remember my name by the time you come to London." "I doubt it... will you call me when you land?" "Sure." Johnny took a step back, he pulled his fedora off and placed it on the couch before reaching round the back of his neck and unclasping a necklace, it was silver with a diamond paper clip pendent. He held it up and gestured with his index finger for her to spin round. Her eyes widened but she did. "This is my promise ok doll?" He clasped it round her neck as she moved her hair out the way, before she span round admiring it. "Johnny you can't give me this." "I can and I just did. If you're still wearing it in just over a month, I'll know that there is a chance, if you're not, I get it and we will just say hi to one another at the gig and have a drink, besides you've got backstage access all areas tickets now, it will be a waste if you don't use them." Annabelle nodded and smiled before he reached over and grabbed his hat. He placed it on her head, and much to her surprise she caught a glimpse in a nearby mirror, it suited her. "My Rock Parisian chic." They shared another passionate kiss before the bell boy arrived to take her luggage.

Johnny tipped the bellboy handsomely. "Can you ensure the car is waiting for Miss Davidson at the front of the hotel please? She will be down when she's ready." "Oui, Merci Monsieur." Johnny nodded before refocusing on his girl. "So this birthday of yours? Do you have plans?" "Ha. Yes I do.. I'm having a party the night before the gig actually." "Oh wow, friends, family and stuff?" "Well kind of, my sister and her boyfriend can't come because they have work stuff on apparently, so yeah most of my family. A good few friends too." "Well don't be hungover for the best bar band ever." "I won't I can assure you. I'm more excited about that than the party if I'm honest." Johnny smirked before kissing her hand elaborately, "See you in five weeks my love." She smiled before he held the door open for her.

Hours later, Annabelle arrived back at her luxury flat in Chelsea. Her room mate and best friend Bryony came running to greet her "So!! How was the big independent I don't need a man trip? You didn't reply to many of my messages thank god for your Instagram!" "It was good. Wonderful in fact, the best." Annabelle said quietly sitting down on their large corner couch. "The best?" Bryony asked. "Hey Davidson! You're back." Max the fiancé of her best friend said as he wandered out of the kitchen. "Yeah I'm back!" "Well for somebody who just spent a whole week spending an ex's money you don't seem very happy?" "Sorry I'm fine, just tired. I'm gonna have a shower and head to bed. Sorry for being boring guys." "Don't be, see ya in the morning." Bryony said sadly from the sofa. After Annabelle had left the room, the friend said to her fiancé "I hope she's ok."

Meanwhile in Paris, Johnny sat playing his guitar on the couch. He was nursing a slug of whiskey as he played various tunes. His phone pinged

As promised.. here's the message to confirm I'm home safe. You really didn't need to organise VIP treatment for me on the Eurostar, although it was very appreciated. Hope Paris is still as wonderful as it has been for me the past 7 days. Xxxx

Paris doesn't have the same desirable appeal now that you're not residing here. I'm glad you're home safe, and as for the VIP treatment, it was nothing, especially when you are such a very important person to me. How that is even possible over the course of just one week I don't know, so please don't ask me to explain it, but what I do know is the feeling is genuine, and I already can't wait to be reunited with you!!! Dream of me, JD X x x

I promise to dream of you, if you dream of me Johnny. Xxx

Oh I will do darling. Xx
