You'll see how Tiana happens, How Keefe died in the Neverseen war and how he came back alive, How Sophie has a 4-year-old son named Leo, and Sokeefe dates, and Winnowing galas maybe, how you might even get to know how Sophies mind broke and how Keefe healed her, You get to know how they got their house..... and so much more. Oh, and the Flashbacks are Third person POV.also Babies aren't gonna talk right after birth cuz I find that weird.
It was 3 weeks after the war with the Neverseen, Sophie was recovering from multiple different injuries and Keefe was ok, thanks to Sophie's Healing abilities. They were at their home Eirene when they heard a knock on the door. It was 3 am in the Morning, Sophie woke up first, startling Keefe who was sleeping beside her. ( NO IT'S NOT DIRTY).
" Sophie, You ok?" Keefe asked Half-Asleep.
" Baby, Someone knocked," She said trying to get up. Sophie and Keefe shared a room on the first floor of their house because everyone knows Sophie and Stairs do not go well together.
" Foster, you'll be in bed, I'll go check ok?" Keefe said walking out of their room and rubbing his eyes. She heard the door open and She could hear Keefe gasp.
" Keefe, what's wrong?" she called from inside the room, Keef didn't reply. Sophie got worried and got up from the bed wincing in pain with every step.
When she got to the door she gasped. Keefe was staring at a basket with a baby in it. The baby was sleeping and Sophie saw a note tucked into the side of the blanket. Sophie blinked, picked up the baby, and read the note
"Dear Moonlark and Keefe, This is my child Leonard who My wife gave birth to before the battle. We realized our mistake too late, we were already in too deep. I have fought you many times and even attempted to kill you but you have shown us the right way in the end. We will die as villains, but please raise our child as a hero, please shower him with Love we could never give. I know you'll never forgive us, you don't need to, but our child never had anything to do with Neverseen. So please accept him as your own and grant us our dying wish. I'm sorry we couldn't raise him.
Gethen and Corentine" ( Corentine is a random person in the Neverseen)
By the time Sophie finished reading the letter she was on her knees, tears running down her face. Keefe was next to her, his own tears running down his face.
"G-Gethen's Child?" Sophie said in a brittle voice
" The one who almost killed me multiple times?" Sophie cried waking up the child. The kid, Leonard opened his eyes and Sophie couldn't tear her eyes away from his face. His jewel-like eyes were like a cloudless sunny day, full of pure bliss. It was nothing like Gethen's broken and haunted ones. Sophie traced his face with her finger, he giggled causing Sophie's eyes to widen.
" Can I hold him?" Keefe asked. Sophie placed him in Keefe's arms but as soon as she took her arms back he started crying , very loudly.
" What Do I do??" Keefe asked urgently.
" Here quick give me him" Sophie replied stretching out her arms. Keefe placed Leo in her arms and Sophie pulled him to her chest and started singing a human lullaby that her mother used to sing to her
"Hush-a-bye, don't you cry.
Go to sleepy little baby.
When you wake, you shall have
All the pretty little horses.
Black and bays, dapples and grays,
Coach and six-a-little horses.
