A/N - This chapter is gonna be pretty short so I apologize in advance :((

I wake up and look to my phone. It's been 4 and a half hours since Chan texted me, so his flight should be in by now. My mom still isn't home from work, so I'll be driving myself there. Before I leave I decide to make myself some food. I haven't eaten in a while.

Cheese quesadillas are my personal favorite. I grab the tortilla and pour some cheese inside. Placing it into the microwave, I run upstairs to grab some clothes. I get changed into jeans, a Little Mermaid tank top, and white flats. I put my hair in a messy bun and add a white bow.

After Chandler sent me that text, I immediately felt so much guilt. I just wish he would've told me everything before I blew up on him. We could've worked something out, I know we could've. When Chan still lived here, we argued constantly. Always over stupid things. But we always worked something out. I'm just so happy that I can see him today. Soon. I'll be reunited with the love of my life in less than an hour.

I pull open my car door to see a box sitting in the passenger seat. I open it, and right before my eyes is a dozen red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Attached is a note.

i saw what chan sent you. i'm happy for you doll. good luck at the airport. here's food for y'all later, i remember you tellin me he liked red velvet cupcakes

p.s i knew i always liked that kid for a reason ;)

Riley is such an amazing best friend. Yes, she can annoy the heck out of me, but she really is amazing. She cares about me so much.

As I pull out of my driveway, it starts to pour. I hate driving in the rain, it gives me anxiety. Little droplets pounding my window, blinding my vision as I try to steer down the road. I hate it.

I start to drive over the bridge to get to the airport as my phone goes off. I look down, and it's a call from an unknown number.

"Hello?" I ask, trying to focus on the road.

"Hello, is this Audrey Gates?" A deep voice asks.

"Yes it is, wh-" I'm interrupted by a dark red SUV crashing into the side of my car, sending my car tumbling down the road and flying off of the bridge, and landing into the interstate below me.

"I was informed you know Chandler Thompson. The flight he and his family were on crashed, and there are no survivors."

A/N again- ILL UPDATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I KNOW ITS A MAJOR CLIFFHANGER BUT BEAR WITH ME HERE IM TRYIN
