I had just landed and put my shades on. I was exhausted, but I wasn't getting anymore sleep than what i had on the plane.

I had two clients coming. I had to make spring tuition payment soon and I was still about 6k short. Even with scholarships, shit was still expensive.

I opened my phone and texted Hussle.

Hey love, I landed. Headed home. I have 2 clients tonight. Thank you, for the $$ much appreciated. LoLo

I close my phone and head to my truck. The ride took 45 minutes...

I put my phone down and turn up the music.

Hussle's voice comes through my speakers rich and clear.

"Been grinding all my life" I sing along.

Was I really dating him? I smile thinking about it.

There is a huge box by the door when I walk up. I grab it and take it inside.

I drop my bag and open it.

There are 24 red roses and two yellow ones.
l cut my flowers, sending him a picture.

There was a knock at the door.

I put the phone down and let my client in. It took me 2 hours to do her hair and then 4 hours for the next head.

Exhausted was an understatement

I cleaned up showered and knocked out.

I had a 7 am class that had a 90 minute final.
I had 2 more back to back. I couldn't wait for Christmas break. 2 weeks of freedom.

After my last final, Samantha pulled up.

I smile. Yeah.

My phone chimes HUSSLE is on the screen.

Shit, I forgot to call him last night.
