Chapter 8 (Season 1)

Excluding Phelix, Madelyn, and Penelope, the group is hiding out in an abandoned house. Gavin walks up to Casey. "You okay?" He asked her. "Yea. My head's kinda fucked up though" Casey said. "I wasn't talking about that" Gavin says, checking Casey's head. Casey sighs. "He worries me, Gavin.." she says. "I just feel like I'm losing him..". "He'll come around, Case" Gavin says. "But what if he doesn't? And that demon gets to his head?" Casey worries. "Phelix's smart. When it goes too far, he ain't gonna go for it" Gavin said. "I guarantee it". "..Thank you, Gavin..for everything" Casey says. "I just care about you, that's all" Gavin says.

Phelix and Madelyn are out going to get Penelope. "I assume you came out here to train?" Madelyn says, as they walk. "Yeah, you know it" Phelix says. "What about Penelope?" Madelyn says. "We're gonna get her..after training" Phelix said. "Well, what if we get there, and it's too late?". Phelix stopped and turned to Madelyn. "Then it's too late" he said, continuing his walk. Madelyn follows behind him, smiling.

At the abandoned house, Adam walks to the bathroom. "You know that's probably not gonna work, right?" Gavin said to Adam. "I gotta piss, and I can't hold it anymore" Adam says, entering the bathroom. Adam closed the door and looked at the mirror. He tried to turn on the sink, but it didn't work. When Adam looked back at the mirror, he saw his reflection with red eyes. Adam panics. "You're not real" he says. "Don't be so sure about that, Adam. I'm you" red eyes said. "I'm the side of you that you don't want to tap into. The side that you're scared of". "You're not apart of me anymore" Adam says. "But we had so much fun together, Adam" red eyes said. "How we..killed..those people". "That was you..not me!" Adam says. "Sure, it was. But I unlocked something in you, Adam...a beast" red eyes says. "And you're scared to unleash that beast because you think it'll change you..boo hoo" he said. "Your friends need you. They need that side of you. They need it to survive". "Shut up" Adam says. "Don't ignore it, Adam! It's apart of you! No getting rid of it!" red eyes says. "I SAID SHUT UP! YOU'RE NOT REAL!" *BAM* Adam punches the mirror reflection, shattering the mirror. Torey barges in the bathroom after hearing the commotion, with Casey, Gavin, and Walker behind her. "Adam, what the hell happened?!" Torey said. "Nothing.." Adam says, holding his bloody hand. "Adam, that's not nothing!" Casey says. Adam sighs. "I saw him...he got to me, that's all" he said. "C'mon, you need some rest" Torey says, sitting Adam down on the couch. "I'm not sleeping in this dump...I'll sleep when I get home" Adam said.

Phelix and Madelyn catches a demon. When the demon saw Phelix, it tried to run. But it turned around to Madelyn standing in front of it. Phelix and Madelyn were on both sides of the demon, trapping it. Phelix flashed his vermilion eyes, killing the demon as he does so. Madelyn smiles. "Alright, let's go" Phelix said, walking off with Madelyn following him.

At the abandoned house, Torey goes up to Adam. "You good?" Torey asked Adam, sitting next to him. "Just tired.." Adam said. "..What did..he say to you?" Torey asks. "Who? Red eyes? Just the usual bullshit.." Adam says. "I wish I could help you" Torey says. "There's nothing you could do" Adam said. "It is what it is.." he says.

Casey walks up to a worried Walker. "Phelix's gonna get your mother, and she's gonna be fine" Casey reassures Walker. "I just keep thinking..what if she's not? And the last time she saw me...I was leaving her" Walker said. "Calling her all types of shit". "She knows that you love her. And even if she's...then she went, knowing that you loved her" Casey says. Walker nods. "Thanks, Case".

Phelix and Madelyn arrive near Penelope's house. "Wait.." Madelyn stops Phelix. "Demons" she says, as there are demons surrounding Penelope's house. "They're all over that place. She's dead. We can't get her" Madelyn says. "I can take them out" Phelix said, calmly. "What? You know how many demons there are?!" Madelyn says. "Yeah, and I can take them out". "If you go in, you're going alone. Because I'm not risking it!" Madelyn said, walking away. "Fine!" Phelix says. "I'll just do it myself..".
