A loud thud trailing on a feeble whimper pulled Percy from his comfortable slumber that very next morning.

Jolting awake the white haired male raised his head from his wooden resting place, haphazardly patting around for his spectacles he discarded before succumbing to sleep the night before. Through his groggy state of consciousness his diligent fingers find the large and round frames quickly. Pinching them between his index and thumb he throws them over his nose with a flourish, giving them a nudge at the bridge to ensure they won't slip down.

When Percival turned to investigate the disturbance he instantly noticed how his bed was now sunken in and empty. The only trace of life being the phantom indent of your form, a disheveled appearance of his cots sheets unnaturally dragged over the edge, just barely touching the floor. No one remained under the covers, you had moved, you were gone. For a brief moment Percy's heart leapt into his throat as he jumped from his seat, last nights sleeping position instantly serving as a painful scolding to never sleep like that again. Rubbing the back of his sore neck the white haired male dives down a rabbit hole in the matter of seconds, mentally berating himself for letting a paralyzed woman of all people escape his watch.

Thankfully his distress and embarrassment didn't last long as it only took one step towards the door to realize that you hadn't gone far.

"Trying to escape?" Percival breathes, unimpressed with your sorry state of being but at the same time relieved because of it. Just an inch or two from his shoe there you are, face first to the ground, sprawled out in somewhat of a crawl. It appeared that you had regained some motion back to your limbs and attempted to move on you own, clearly not anticipating just how weak your muscles still were.

Quietly a sad sigh escapes you as you struggle to rise to a sitting position. "No." Your voice falters as a tremor racks through your struggling arms sending you to the floor again.

You hear a chuckle escape the man beside you and wish you had the strength to turn and shoot him a dirty look.

"If you're going to run away do try to be more quiet next time." Percival continues to chastise you as his shoes comes into view approaching your nose.

"How about you try and mind your own business." You snap back through gritted teeth, again you strain your muscles in a second attempt to rise but fail miserably.

"Hard to when you're wallowing all over my floor." Before you could even pull in a breath to insult him a pair of firm hands lace themselves underneath your shoulders. Startled, your face darts upwards, meeting the noble who is now crouched with his arms outstretched. With a condescending smirk, which was no doubtably formed in a place of amusement at your struggles, he lifts you carelessly.

With one swift movement he places you right back onto your cushioned prison like it was nothing. His strength came as a surprise to you; as he steps away from you to his work bench your eyes remain trained on the cloth covering his arms. On the surface they appear slender and lean, at first glance you wouldn't suspect him to have any muscle at all. You lie to yourself that you aren't mildly impressed or intrigued.

"So what were you doing on the floor?" Percival asks as he pulls up a chair next to you, slumping into it with a woomf.

Weakly you sling your arms across your chest, hanging them low and pathetically, you're happy they can move this much but its about all you can manage, gravity is still too much for your frail self. With your cheeks puffed you whip your head the other way, not wanting to look the noble on the eye. "Wanted to go for a walk." You mumble.

His brows raise at your obvious lie, eyes thinning with suspicion. "Uh huh. I wouldn't suppose that's the actual reason, is it?" Coyly he rests his face against his fist, his aura telling you he already has an idea of why you were on the floor. You know he just wants to hear you admit it, most likely to belittle you like a roach.
