Chapter 9 My First Day Of Freedom Or So I Thought

I woke up at 7:30 exactly by pounding on my door. Amber continuously pounding on it was a 1 2 3 pattern while I got up and tried to unlock it. Once she felt and heard the click she immediately pushed on the door to open it. Max was right behind her. It was so strange. I looked down and I was in full armor still from last night. Shit, I forgot my armor from last night. Not to mention metal armor which is the most uncomfortable.

Max looked at me and rambled "I did not know you slept in your armor. How was that comfortable?"

I laughed "I was writing late last night and guess I just passed out once I flopped onto my bed."
Sadyia walked past and mumbled something along the lines of "Kato is Home."

I immediately walked to the kitchen because I could smell the pancakes that Kato was making in the kitchen. Max was walking behind me and tapped my shoulder.

Max snooped "How did you know Kato was making food and he was in the kitchen?
I mumbled "Pancakes."

I continued walking to the kitchen and Amber ran past to get there faster than anyone else. Max asked me some questions about the armor. Lilith's stone is on the counter. I see Kato has a bracelet on. I sat down at the table. Everyone else sitting at the table sees him bring a big plate of pancakes.

Kato exclaimed, "There she is finally awake, did the SCF focing us up at 6 am not make you wake up early at all."

I looked at him and laughed back "Not if you worry all night."

It feels like Deja vu. All of today feels like it has happened.

Sadyia taps me on the shoulder and exclaims "We can leave the bunker."

I walk over by my charm and see something off about it. The dragon on it doesn't look correct.

I look over to Sadyia and inquire "What are mine and your project numbers."

She looked at me and laughed, "You 405 mine is 1113529."

I yell "That's hilarious. I am out of this thing."

I look at her and walk over to my room and lay on my bed.

This place is not where I need to be. I need to walk up. I want to Wake up now but I cannot. My body won't let me. Please help me. I want out of here. This is not my home and I just want to go back.

I am shaken up and I jolt out of bed. I see Kato standing over me. So the dream was sorta right that Kato was back but his face. Wait did Lilith do that? She would never but.
Kato asserted "Good morning are you doing alright? I heard you scream and I felt I needed to wake you."

Sadyia runs in here after Kato rabbles "Sage is Sage ok. Is he good?"

Kato shakes her and points at me. I start to giggle. Damn, that dream was feeling more and more real each second.

Kato resumed, "Sage, can you give me an answer."

I assured "I am fine Kato. Just had a nightmare, they happen often so don't get too worried."

Kato continued "This is something to get worried over because you have never yelled that loud from a nightmare or ever that you have yelled. And this one was creepy because you yelled "That's Hilarious." and "I'm out of this thing" That kinda scares people."

I pouted back "Ok guess I speak in my sleep why is that something to worry about."

Kato replied, "This was different, you yelled and did not speak out loud."

Kato walked out of the room and Sadyia sat there.

Sadyia babbled "Pancakes are ready."

She leaves the room too and I close the door to get changed. I got into a camo skirt and a black tank top. I walk out of the room and start to walk towards Kato and pull out the notebook that Aria gave to us. I see 2 codes appear: 2021 and 401.

I murmured, "Hey Kato, more people are joining us and we need to figure out a way to hide them."

Kato grabs the notebook from me and walks over to Sadyia and Max and shows them. I walk over to the couch and see the names. Lokeir Avila and Tara Vierita. There is no last or I think first name to the second one. I thought that they would have full first and last names. I at least hoped, but guess not.

Kato exclaimed, "We need to find them or at least be able to get them to safety away from the people in the village."

Sadyia recounted "There is cell service down here and I can call someone to go and find them and hide them. Maybe get them to the bunker. If it is safe of course."

I see a bracelet on Kato's wrist and look down at Lilith's gem. It looks alright. It seems like there is still a dragon inside of it.

Kato notices me staring at my charms.

Kato mumbled "Thanks for sending out Lilith for me. Even though you did not have to. She has me stuck with a bracelet on her gem just in case I do this again."

I start to giggle and Sadyia looks in our direction. She gave me the look of daggers in her eyes once she realized what we were talking about.

They continue to talk and I walk back into the room. Kato followed behind.

Kato asked "What are you doing? We should be with them outside of the room and help them."

I reply "I think they got this figured out, it seemed they had a person to find the 2 new joiners and we'll help them once we can."

Kato sat down on the cleanly made bed.

Kato continues, "These beds did not look like this when I left."

I noted, "I made the beds for us before I went to bed last night."

He opened his notebook for the SCF. He started to write in it. I grab my notebook.
