Chapter 12 The Outside?

Waking up to Sadyia yelling at the top of her lungs is so annoying. But at least we can leave the bunker, I think? She kept yelling and saying to pack up the whole morning since 5 am was so annoying. I couldn't sleep after that because she was too loud and then Kato walked in and told me to get up.

Kato sighed "Sage you have to get up because Sadyia wants to tell you something and we need to start packing the little bit of stuff that we have in here."

I grudgingly get out of bed and pack up my notebook and my charms, I walk out of the room and go towards the living room where I hear Sadyia yelling at the top of her lungs. I see Sadyia walk out of the Ketchen and towards me. She finally was quiet enough that I could hear my thoughts or not.

Sadyia excessively says "Today is the day we get out."

I replied, "It was only 2 days, man it wasn't that long."

She retaliates "I felt like I was back in the test rooms when I am unable to see the sun. How did you both do this for so many years?"

I ask " When did you escape the facility?"

She confusedly replied "3 years after the split. It wasn't long after that I left the facility with Max. We were the "First" ones to escape and Aria and her friend Tara. I wish that Tara was with us but she went to another village to explain everything."

I ask another question "Who's Tara?"

Sadyia looks at me and just shrugs her arms and says " Well Max got to meet her but I did not get to know or see her. I just got told that she should be back about 3 to 4 years after we left."

I reply " It would be around today that-"

The inside door of the bunker is opening while I and Saida are talking. Sadyia and I look at each other. Sadyia walks over to the door and there is someone I don't know who she is but she seemed important. Sadyia seemed not really while walking over to the door. Sadyia walks over to her and starts to talk. She starts to drag her towards me. Sadyia seemed excited about the person who showed up and she wanted me to meet them.

Sadyia starts with "Welcome Sahra I want to introduce you to the 2 new projects in the crew. Wait, where were you during the scientist attack and Owen?"
Sahra says "Both of us were with Alex. They both vouched for me and we showed them the ID and it worked. I think once it has been about 2 or more years we are technically free cause they did not look any closer to see the code in my eye. But anyways Hello my name is Sahra but I don't use that name unless it is Sadyia or formal. My name is-"

Max walks out of the armory and walks towards Sahra and says "Bon you here I need your help with caring some of this out."

Sahra replies " Fine I'll help you."

I say "Maybe we could make contacts or something to cover the code. Or glasses with specific lenses."

Sahra replies "That is a good idea but what shades would work or glasses? But anyways Max wants me to do something." she walks away.

I doodle into a smaller notebook. Armor and glasses wow a total warrior. All I can think of is the classrooms with the people and the 2 people having glasses. The people there were super aggressive towards them but they could not do anything. They were unable to start fights or anything. I notice Sadyia looking at the notebook that I am holding. She swipes it from my hands and starts to flip through the pages. She stops on the one that is talking about my crystals.

Sadyia asks "What is this about? This is a lot of information for a notebook that you made. I am used to seeing notebooks with half the notes missing but this one might be a book filled with notes."

I tried to grab my notebook back and she sneaked around me and walked up the walls. I looked at her with confusion and she looked down and started to giggle.

She says "You can't get me LOSER."

I replied, "We will see."

Max, Kato, and Sahra all walk out of the armory and see me trying to grab Sadyia's legs. Max walks over and looks up at her.

Max ask's " Sadyia is that Sage's notebook?"

I nodded and finally grabbed her ankle.

I say in confidence " Gotcha (bit) Now I can get the notebook from ya now."

She pulls me up and I am almost not touching the ground. I feel someone grab my tactical belt and pull both of us down. I turn around swiftly and see Kato. I pick up my notebook from Sadyia and see that she wrote down in my notebook under Gems and charms "This charm was given by Sadyia." There is a doodle in the notebook that looks like the necklaces that we have. Kato goes back over to Sahra. They both are talking and Max looks directly at Sadyia and starts to talk to her about pulling that stunt off. I walk over to Kato and Sahra.

Kato says "Sage was the one who designed mostly all of this stuff. She seemed to have a love for inventing stuff and some useless shiz too. I mean what the heck are these glasses for?"

I reply "First product of E1S but put them down they could combust."

Kato looks at me in confusion and asks "You made the combustible? Why would you do that?"

I continue "I made them combustible because I don't want them finding where they got them and how they got the items. Almost everything can be destroyed and I think the rest of my Lab mates would be able to destroy them and it makes me not be caught by them."

Sahra asks " So how do you make sure that you don't leave DNA on the metal and everything?"

I reply " Sterilize the hell out of it. I make sure that the computer components are worked on with gloves on and the metal with rubber gloves. If they tear I just sterilize the frame or whatever metal that I accidentally touched."

They both looked at me and Kato grabbed my notebook. He starts flipping to the page that has the glasses doodle and starts reading. I pulled out the journal and started writing. Kato leans over my shoulder and points at the name in my project notebook.

Kato asked, "Who are Kokie and Tara?"

I reply "People that I wanted to test my project on. They both had the longer notice of their numbers so they can be seen more easily than yours or mine."

Sahra chimes in "Tara is 401 and neither of you has the same length of number."

I look at Sahra and ask "How do you know this? When I was interacting with her she had Sadias number and she was swapped over to my side 4 weeks after Sadyia was removed."

Sahra looks at me and smiles and continues "So Sadyia you were originally 401?"

Max and Sadyia walk over to us and Sadyia looks at her in confusion.

Sadyia says "Well not 401 but I was originally 406. Her support buddy."

As Sadyia points towards me and I slink down a bit. Kato giggles right next to me and Max and Sadyia sit on the other couch. We all just talked for a bit until Sarha looks at her phone and she signals us to be able to leave.
