KARLNAP SUPRISE!!

---

"Sapnap!" Karl whined on the phone with his best friend, "I miss you!" "I miss you too, Karl, but you know I can't come to you for a month or two." Karl sunk into his chair, sad, "I know, I have so many new meals to make for you!." "I know, but, look, Karl, I'll talk to you later, I promise. But, I have to go. I love you." "I love you too, Sap." And the call hung up.

Karl sat in his chair, what could he do?

There was nothing.

Dream and George were busy with Sapnap and all his other friends didn't want to call today, he had already checked before convincing Sapnap to call him for a couple of minutes when he was free.

So, he decided just to eat. He stood up, taking soft footsteps to his kitchen just to open the fridge and find milk and two soda cans. His cupboards had pasta and a package of Oreos with two left. "Great." He murmured. He walked to his stream room and got his phone, walking back to the kitchen and sitting on the countertops. He didn't feel like talking so, he just door-dashed food. Enough until tomorrow for lunch so he didn't have to go grocery shopping till later tomorrow. He put his card information in and ordered the food, it would be there in forty minutes.

He went to his bedroom and threw on any anime that came up because at this point he just needed a distraction and he watched it, comfortably in bed till there was a knock on the door. He stood up and went to the front door of his house and opened it to find his food with a note on it and a car in his driveway but he just thought it was the door dash driver's car. He closed and locked his door, looking at the note. "Hey, Kar. Two hours."

What the hell...

Karl was scared. Who is this from? What would happen in two hours?

He went around and locked all his doors and closed all his curtains and opened his food bag. He put the food he was gonna heat up tomorrow in his fridge and grabbed the food he was eating now and went to his room. He turned the anime back on and texted Sapnap, 'I got a random note on my door dash just saying 'Hey, Kar. Two hours.' What should I do?' He sent the message and tried to distract himself by eating.

He was done eating half an hour later. And he was quite thirsty so he went to his kitchen and got a soda out of the fridge, looking at the milk real quick and seeing it was expired. So, he dumped the milk out and put the container on his counter because he definitely wasn't going to go out to his recycling bin to throw it out at a time like this.

He sat back in his bed and scrolled through Twitter, just then realizing Sapnap hadn't answered him yet.

'He must be too busy to talk to me.' He thought.

He wanted to cry, he wanted nothing more than to cry his eyes out. He missed Sapnap so much, it hurt him. He hadn't seen him in three months and he had to wait another couple months to see him.

Karl thought about all the fun conversations and things that they have done together and started crying.

He was crying for a bit when he got a Twitter notification. From Sapnap. His heart glowed and then sunk into his chest. He can't reply to him but he can tweet. He opened the tweet and saw he said, 'One hour.' Karl thought he would just be streaming in an hour and blew it off.

He went to his bathroom and wiped his tears, looking at himself in the mirror. Is it too much to ask to see your best friend once every couple of months?
Karl went back to his bed and continued watching the anime and lost track of time until he saw Sapnap tweet again, 'Five minutes

That's when he remembered, something was gonna happen soon, the note. Shit.

He went around his house double-checking everything was locked and when he went back to the living room he heard footsteps at his front door. He hid behind the couch and dialed 911, not calling yet, just in case.

There was a knock. Seconds later, another. Then, what scared him the most is he heard a key and the door handle jiggle. The handle turned and the door opened slowly to reveal...

"Sapnap!" Karl dropped his phone and shot up from behind the couch, running to Sapnap and hugging him.

"How are you here!" "I had a free week, figured I'd come see you."

"Did you place that note?" Sapnap nodded, "I hate you. That scared me!" Sapnap hugged him tighter, "I'm sorry Kar."

"It doesn't matter, you're here now." They let of of each other and Sapnap went out to his car to get his stuff. He walked back in and Karl got the key to his room, "I locked it up because Nolan kept trying to sleep in there after you left."

Karl had literally kept the room locked up since Sapnap last was there, at this point, there should be dust and cobwebs everyone from how much he doesn't use this room. "Ok, I'm gonna change then let's watch something?" "Yeah!"

The boys sat in the living room watching shows and youtube till they fell asleep on each other on the couch. It was a good day for Karl, his best friend was with him again and he was so happy. Sapnap was his soulmate, he can barely stand not having him around. Karl was happy and content.

At 7 am He was woken up, Sapnap wasn't there. He was probably in his room. He casually checked his phone to see Sapnap live on Twitch... in Florida with Dream and George.

It was all a dream.
He was still alone in his house, with probably no food and his best friend was hours away.

Fuck.
