You've been inside for a month now and you are losing your mind. Your house was no longer colorful. Instead, it was grey and dark. It was lonely. But you can't go outside. Wally is after you and you know it. You must stay hidden.
You look at yourself in the cracked mirror. You had dark bags under your eyes, your skin was pale due to a lack of sunlight, your hair was a mess, your clothes were dirty and ripped. You take the mirror off the wall and look at your tally marks. 36 days. Just over a month. You put the mirror back and that was when you realized Wally was standing behind you. His face was no longer yellow. It was pitch black, like a void. Only his eyes were visible, but you knew it was him. His once neat hair was cascading down the side of his face, covering one eye. The monster spoke.
"Now, where have you been? I have waited for the longest time. I've knocked at your door, I offered you gifts. Am I not good enough for you? Do you understand how much pain you put me through? Well that ends today. Starting with you."
He grabbed your arm and the black void swallowed you whole.

"AAAAAHH!!!"You quickly sit up on the couch, cold sweat trickling down your back.
Just a dream, just a dream, just a dream...
You look around. The house was not dark and grey, but still lonely. You get off the couch and walk to the bathroom to make sure you didn't look like yourself in the dream. You were slightly pale due to being so scared, your clothes were fine, you had small bags under your eyes and your hair was still a mess.
You think about what happened yesterday, which was your first day here.
You were at your desk at home- your home. Then you went rollerblading around your neighborhood. Then you got pulled into a tree by Wally and you woke up here. You were then told by your kidnapper that he will keep you here for 3 months, wether you like it or not.
Shit. He might not even let me go after 3 months. What am I going to do without my family? My friends? My life was okay enough and this guy just had to drag me to his strange town to solve his own stupid problems that suspiciously remain confidential. I want to see my parents, siblings, and friends. I want to go home.
The thought buzzed around your mind like bees. You feel tears welling up in your eyes, it's hard to swallow. The tears roll down your cheeks, your face is red. You are trapped. You can't get out of this place.
Your sad moment was rudely interrupted by a knock at the door. You stop crying instantly, your face changing quickly from red to white.
Nonononono! Please don't be Wally. Please don't be Wally!
You wait. More knocking. Then a voice. High pitched and happy. Julie, thank god.
"Y/N? Y/NNN?! Are you in theeere?"
Julie knocked on the door in a rhythmic tune.
You walk to the door and open it up an inch, peeking through the gap at Julie.
"Hello! Were you playing hide and seek? I haven't seen you all day!"
"No, I just- slept in." You lie.
Julie bought it and continued talking.
"Well, I came to tell you about the slumber party I'm having! Would you like to come?"Julie looked at you as if it would mean the world to her if you came.
"Well... who's coming?"
"I invited everybody, but Poppy is busy and I think Wally is going to do something with Barnaby. So that leaves Frank, Eddie, Sally, and Howdy!"
You breathed a sigh of relief that Wally won't be there.
"Sure, I'll come!" You say with a smile.
"Eeeek! This is going to be so much FUN!!" Julie squealed, then skipped away.
Eager to have something to look forward to, you go to the bathroom to clean up, you also change into some new clothes you bought (well, got for free) at Howdy's. You finish up and look in the mirror.
You get nervous, is this too fancy? Not enough? How formal is this party?
Your thoughts were interrupted by knocking on the door. Oh well, just hope for the best. You rush over to the door and open it all the way.
"Sorry for the wait, Julie. I couldn't decide what clothes to-" You stop before finishing the sentence. It, in fact, was not Julie. It was the one person, the one person you wished not to see.
Why does god hate me? Jesus f3cking Christ.
"H-hi, Wally"
You silently curse yourself for stuttering."Hi neighbor! I heard that you were coming to the slumber party?"
"I heard you weren't" you say coldly. After the dream last night, all you wanted to do was stay away from Wally.
"Well, I'm happy to inform you that there was a change in plans! Poppy, Barnaby, and I will be at the slumber party!" Wally says with a warm smile.
The smile almost makes you forget how much you hate him. Almost. But now he is coming to the party. You would cancel if you hadn't promised Julie, but you just can't stand breaking her heart.
It's just a sleepover... with Wally. Correction: with your kidnapper. I guess I just have to avoid him as much as possible.
"Thats... great news!" You say, plastering a smile on your face.
"Wonderful! So Julie's party starts soon, so I came here to ask if you wanted to walk there with me?" Wally says, suspiciously avoiding eye contact. You notice the slightest amount to blush on his cheeks. No! Not blush! He... must have been outside for a while and got sunburnt.
"Uhm, sure. I'll walk with you."
Wally smiled and suddenly, but gently, grabbed your hand and led the way to Julie's.
Oh, joy. This is going to be terrific.
