Prologue

Sometimes love comes unexpected. It's something that is heart wrenching and slowly tears away. I hate love, I hate how it pulls you under and you don't even realize it until it's too late.

Before I felt like I needed love, that it would make my world happy, make it go round. And for a time, it did. I was desperate, lonely, aching for it, without thinking of what would happen after.

That's the thing about love, it slips through your hands and you don't even realize it until you are laying on the ground.
