The front door slowly creaked opened revealing Adan, with disheveled and tangled hair. His fatigue was evident, with dark bags under his eyes that seemed to worsen with every outing. Taking a moment to listen to the TV, he blinked slowly, then proceeded to remove his shoes. Seeking support, he reached for the doorknob, but to his surprise, a sudden electric shock jolted his nerves, causing him to stumble back as a spark illuminated his hand.

For some reason, he couldn't comprehend why he's been so weary. Energy had been tearing away from his body. Vulnerability purged his being and soul altogether. At times, he felt like a walking corn on the cob. No brain and waiting to be picked away. He rested his hand onto the wall for support, running the other hand into his hair. He went at all the naps that crumpled and hid in his hair with his fingers.

He let out a grumble while glancing at his abandoned shoes, carefully placing them on the shoe rack. The echoes of the TV played in his ears, a science fiction movie; however, upon closer inspection and squinting, he realized that the scene didn't align with the sounds he was hearing.

The TV displayed two Dinosaurs brawling and roaring, raising their arms at each other as they charged at each other with absolute brute force. The dinosaurs definitely weren't interacting with each other.

His attention shifted towards Jazmin's door, where he could hear muffled voices coming from her room. The door was slightly ajar, revealing a glimpse of two pairs of feet that emerged from the shadows and making their way into the living room. Slowly, he approached her door, the muffled voices gradually transformed into an audible conversation, allowing him to make out the conversation with ease

"You gon' owe me for this."

Adan then heard an exhale come from Jazmin.. And that voice, it sounded familiar. Miles? He slowly opened the door with a raised eyebrow. The two shuffled, quickly turning their heads towards Adan. His eyebrow curled up at the sight. He wondered why Miles was in her room, he knew they barely interacted unless they were hiding something from him.

"What are you..?"

Adan's voice stuck through the air for a little, watching as Jazmin looked more than nervous and uncomfortable by the sight of her older brother. Miles kept a stoical expression though his eyebrows stayed raised wondering what took him so long to take some trash 'out'.

He didn't seem all that bothered by Adan's presence– he actually knew Adan entered the house but he didn't see any obligation in acting upon it. The two men looked at each other with a tired manner that slowly turned into tension which made standing in the room absolutely unbearable.
