AMBROSE P.O.V:
"Umm... I'm forgetting my manners... Uhh.. Good morning, I'm Ambrose, but you can call me Amos and, uh.." Noticing her expression that changed from 'Ahh.. Who're you??' to 'Why are you even talking to me??', I cut to the chase. "Uh.. You're standing in front of my locker.." Looking behind her shoulder, the girl turned to me and deadpanned "You could've just said so. There was no need of introducing yourself. Also, do I know you from somewhere??" And now that she mentioned it, even I think I've seen her somewhere.
"You said your name was Ambrose, didn't you?? Oh right!!! We both have our classes together!! That's why I know you!!" she said, sounding as if that thought horrified her. I guess she saw my intrigued expression, 'cuz she added, quite helpfully "I'm Irene Prue!!" Now remembering her, I said "You're that British girl, aren't you? The one that Arielle talks about?? She's rather annoying at times..." "Yeah! I'm that British girl that Arielle can't stop talking about.. Honestly, she is annoying!!"
IRENE P.O.V:
So the awe-struck, blonde dude is my classmate. Great!! Now, he knows me and might ask to partner up or something!! Humph!! I hate socializing... Also, who calls me 'the British girl'?? Arielle, I guess. At least, me and blonde dude agree on the fact Arielle Reddy is annoying. Rather annoyed at her, I replied with a snarky, "Yeah! I'm that British girl that Arielle can't stop talking about.. Honestly, she is annoying!!"
Also, speak of the Devil's assistant's assistant's assistant. "Hello there peasant!!" she said turning to me. "And hello there Amos! Is it just me, or have you gotten more handsome over the summer break??" she asked Ambrose, fanning herself in a way which she thought was cute. "What are you doing with this peasant, Amos??" I was having the time of my life, but Ambrose seemed to disagree, because he was silently gagging a mouthing a 'Save me!!' to me.
Though I don't do it often, I decided to put him out of his misery. "Arielle, I'd love to insult you, but looks like nature already did a good job by giving you that face." I said smirking. This, now, was my domain. "What did you say??" said an Arielle, who has now gone pink in the face. "Honestly Arielle.. You're more of a bio-hazard than the great pacific garbage patch " "You. Are. Trash." Wow!! I come up with that, and that's all she says!! The AUDACITY!! "And Arielle.. Here's an advice.. Try eating at least 1 percent of the make up on your face. Maybe you'll be pretty on the inside.."
By now, Amos (I did not just call him that*horrified face*) was red in the from struggling to keep his laughter inside, and Arielle was red in the face from, embarrassment or anger, I couldn't have ever guessed..
AMBROSE P.O.V:
Arielle was trying to impress me, but was terribly failing at it. And it was cringy!!! I mouthed to Irene to save me from her, and she looked rather reluctant to do so. But then she started her trash talk.
"Arielle, I'd love to insult you, but looks like nature already did a good job by giving you that face." Daanngg!!! That must've burned!! "What did you say??" nearly screeched a pink-in-the-face Arielle. "Honestly Arielle.. You're more of a bio-hazard than the great pacific garbage patch " "You. Are. Trash." I guess that's the extent of her vocabulary. "And Arielle.. Here's an advice.. Try eating at least 1 percent of the make up on your face. Maybe you'll be pretty on the inside.." Oh My GODS!!! That's it!! Keeping this laughter in is taking all of my will power and I must've looked like I was suffocating, because I am suffocating. That's it!! "HA! HA! HAHA!!"
"Ms. Prue.. I see you're back in business already and classes have barely even begun!!" I heard Mr. Helmer, our version of Prof. Snape. "Mr. Helmer.. Uhh.. Good morning to you too, sir.." And Irene, for the first time ever, looked like she was regretting her life's choices. Arielle smirked at this, but the smirk vanished when Mr. Helmer turned towards her and told her to focus on her studies rather than on boys.
