Walking over deck, the Ninja and Garmadon watched the others practicing or showing off their powers. It was interesting to watch, to say the least. One dude had hands of iron and was holding up a metal can by just throwing his fists against it. Another guy took a deep breath, and levitated upwards, which caught Kai by surprise.

''You know him. You said his name's Clouse.'' Lloyd said when all five of them regrouped at the spot Kai had been standing.

''Don't be fooled by his attire.'' Garmadon replied. ''He is a Master of Dark Arts, and Master Chen's number two.''

''Huh. I thought Master Chen's number two was an eggroll with fried rice.'' Cole joked, and Kai shook his head at him in a playful manner.

''Why haven't you or Wu ever told us there are others with powers like us?'' The Red Ninja asked as he refocused on the elder man.

''Because,'' Garmadon answered. ''There are some things we don't want you to know. You were led to believe you were special, yet you never questioned where your powers came from.''

Jay, who seemed to be a little confused, interrupted; ''Uh, are you implying I'm not special?''

Garmadon paid him no attention however, as he continued; ''Everyone on this ship is a descendant of an original Elemental Master.''

''Elemental Master? Who were they?'' Lloyd asked.

''They were the First Spinjitzu Master's guardians.'' Garmadon explained. ''Each endowed with an Elemental power that has been passed down through generations.''

Suddenly, Kai thought of something; ''If that's true, then so is my sister Nya. But she can't do what I can.''

Garmadon turned towards him. ''Can't she? Power lies in all of you. It only needs to be awoken.'' He started making his way over the boat. ''The fighters here serve no master, and have managed to unlock their own true potential. For instance, that pale man.'' He gestured towards a man leaning against the railing, his body invisible, the only thing that showed he was there were his clothes, hat and a pair of sunglasses. When Garmadon spoke of him, he looked up and turned away. Garmadon continued: ''A distant relative to the Master of Light. Watch closely.'' The man vanished into nothing. ''See how he's stayed hidden all these years.'' A flash of light passed them, and Garmadon spoke again. ''Then there's Griffen Turner. Grandson to the Master of Speed.'' Griffen did a little dancy dance, then made his way over to the group.

''Hey! You can't lay a hand on me!'' He challenged, before speeding away all over the boat, until he eventually stopped on the third floor, saying; ''Swifter than swift.''

''Uh, Master of Speed?'' Jay scoffed. ''That's not an Element.''

''So asks the Master of Lightning.'' Garmadon replied dryly.

''Ooh, snap, he got you there.'' Cole grinned, giving the Blue Ninja a shove against the shoulder, to which Jay glared at him.

They continued their way until they reached a girl doing cartwheels on deck.

''That's Ashley, the daughter of the Master of Animals.'' Garmadon said, and the girl flashed Kai an upside-down grin.

''Master of Animals? What's that supposed to mean?'' Kai scoffed, and Ashley frowned. Coming down from her handstand, she turned towards him.

''It means, flameball, that I can in fact change into any living creature on earth.'' She said to him, and he raised his eyebrows in a mocking disbelief. For a second, she glowed brightly, until in her place stood a cat, who gazed up at him with a smug expression. He cleared his throat, rolling his eyes as he looked away. His face lit up when the amber pools fell on a silhouette leaning against the railing. Despite the hood that she had draped over her head, he recognized her instantly.
