Michael's POV

Luke had just left in a hurry. That's new. Not.

I wish I could spend just a little more time with him without him worrying about getting home on time. The boy's almost 18 for peatsakes. I let out a huge sigh, attracting the attention of my friends playing video games. Ashton paused the game and turned to face me.

"What's going on in the pretty little head of yours?" He asked.

"Pretty little Luke, that's what." Calum smirked. I threw a pillow at him and layed back on my bed.

"He worries me is all." I say.

"Why's that?" Calum asks.

"Haven't you noticed that he's always in a rush when he has to go home? Like he's scared of being late or something."

"You're overthinking it Michael, he probably just has to fight to get home before anyone else so the food on the table isn't fine by the time he gets there." Calum chuckled. "I'm sure he's fine."

But he wasn't. Not at all.

"Shh!" Ashton said as his phone started ringing. He picked it up with a goofy ass smile on his face. "Yeah. Mhm. Right now? I could come by your house and we could go there together. But I want to. Okay. See you in a bit!" He hung up and happily sighed.

"What was that about?" I ask.

"Bryanna. She wants to go to Starbucks so I'm gonna go pick her up and walk over." He squealed. He fucking squealed. "I gotta go, I'll see you guys at school!" He said picking up Hus things, stuffing them in his bag and running out the door. I turned to Calum who had about the most annoyed look on his face.

"Oh Ashton! We should definitely go to Starbucks. You need to start ditching your bestfriends because I want to get laid. Fucking pathetic." He scoffed. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Why do you dislike her so much? I've talked to her a few times, and she seems quite nice." I say.

"Yeah, nice if she isn't trying to get with you." I frown at his response.

"Seriously though! God Ashton hasn't shut up about her since they got together and oh my fuck like I. Don't. Care. Just watch by 3 weeks he'll be avoiding us because he'll be all caught up in little Miss Barbie Whore and-"

"CALUM!" I cut him off before he can go rampaging. "You're overeacting. Ashton would never do that! Give Bryanna a chance? She seems to make Ashton happy. At least for him?" He was hesitant but finally mumbled an angry 'fine'. I chuckled lowly getting up from my bed to help him up off the floor. "Let's go get some coffe and calm you down?" He nodded eagerly. This puppy.

We walked to a nearby coffee shop that was only a few blocks away. I prefer this place over Starbucks believe it or not. I went up to the register and ordered our usuals. I waited for them and brought them back to Calum's preffered spot. Outside.

"Calum its freezing why can't we drink them inside?" I ask.

"It feels better drinking something warm when everything else is cold." He shrugged. I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my coffee. "I saw some girls giving you the eye."

"Yeah, well too bad for them." I laughed. I'm gay, but only Calum and Ashton know. And my ex girlfriend, but that's not important.

"Yeah well, when's you and Hemmings gonna happen." He smirked. I choked on my coffee, as to say 'what?!'
"Oh cmon. Its obvious you like him." He teased.

"I do not! He's like you guys. A brother. That's it." I say, not even convincing myself.

"Whatever you say Clifford."
