"100 reasons to stay away,
And only one convinces me to stay.
Drowing blue eyes,
Flawed by the inner lies,
Lost, broken and insecure,
Found a pair of emerald stars,
Shining like headlights of passing cars.
Ink and bruises, like carved in memories.
Tears and scars,
They all originate from forgotten calamities.
Tragedy hidden away in the dark,
Nothing can hide the outer marks."Luke and Michael were laying across Luke's bed, doing nothing but laying in peace and silence.
"Luke?"
"Yeah?"
"I want you to come with me."
"Where may I ask?"
"Somewhere."
Luke sat up, looking at Michael who was looking right back. They remained in that position for several minutes, becoming lost in a never ending trance. Michael was the first to do something. He grabbed Luke's hand, never taking his gaze off the boy sitting in front of him.
"I want to get a new tattoo, but I want you to come with me." He finally said.
"Why do you want me there?" Luke asked.
"Because it's a special tattoo and a special person needs to be there." Michael lightly grinned at the pink tone of Luke's cheeks.
"I'm not special though." Luke said, as Michael's grin immediately faded into a frown. He moved his hand from Luke's, and moved it to his cheek.
"Of course you are." Luke then leaned into Michael's palm, closing his eyes and smiled as he felt Michael lightly stroke his cheek. "Will you come with me?"
"Yeah." Luke breathed.
They were soon out on Michael's bike, Luke's head pressed to Michael's back. They rode until they finally arrived at the tattoo shop Michael had visited ever since he was a kid. As they entered, they were greeted by Michael's regular artist.
"Hello Michael. Back so soon?" The artist asked.
"Its only been a month Jeremy." Michael chuckled.
"And who's that?" Jeremy asked.
"That's Luke." Michael said noticing he had gone off to look at the many drawings around the shop.
"Is he getting the customer today?" Jeremy asked. Michael shook his head.
"Not today, but I hope one day." Hr found himself smiling as he saw Luke trace the patterns of the drawings. "I want a tattoo on my bicep if that's okay." Jeremy smiled and nodded. He walked the red head over to a seat and began to get his materials ready. Luke made his way back over to the pair.
"What are you getting a tattoo of?" He asked.
"You'll see." Michael smiled.
They spent a little less than an hour in there. Well Michael did, Luke went outside for half the time since seeing the needle made him sick. Jeremy was cleaning up Michaels bicep when he finally came back in.
"Can I see, can I see?" Luke asked eagerly. He walked over to where Michael was sat and looked at the now red and inked skin. "To the moon." Luke silently mumbled.
"Do you like it?" Michael asked, and Luke nodded. He smiled down at the red head, this was where his favourite music was from. Michael knew that. They walked back out after Michael had payed. They didn't go back the motorcycle, rather, they went to a nearby bookshop. Luke was looking at a fiction section while Michael was looking at the little hamster the store had as a pet.
"Luke come look at this little guy!" Michael exclaimed as Luke walked over to him.
"Awe. What a cutie." Luke smiled and stuck his finger through the little opening in the cage.
"Shit." Michael half yelled and his behind Luke.
"What's going in with you?" Luke asked.
"My ex." He said pointing at a short, thin and blonde girl who had just walked in. "She's looking at us. She knows me. Fuck." He said nervously. Luke sensed his uneasiness, and he wasn't even thinking about what he did next. He grabbed Michael by the collar of his shirt, pulling him down and attaching their lips. Michael was taken by surprise, but found himself wrapping his arms around the younger boys' waist. They pulled apart after a few seconds, leaving both boys bright pink.
"Woah."
