Rex found himself in the mountains of Liyue, tinkering with a Guizhong ballista.
"Working hard?" Noticing how his radar did not react, the young man focused on his work.
"Yeah... just finishing some new touches," Rex replied as he poked his body out of the underside of the Ballista. The young man raised his brow as he looked at the Tsaritsa, Bronya. He was not surprised that she was here in Liyue but was shocked about why she was here in the pass where he happened to work.

Smiling, the Cryo Archon looked at him. Gently, the archon knelt on the ground and wiped his cheek to remove the oil on his cheek with a handkerchief. While his face showed no reaction, the faint and fading amber tips of his hair dulled slightly as he looked at her.
"I was curious about the Ballista..." The Cryo archon admitted as the tips of her hair glowed lightly with the same share of color as her element. As someone who used to be an Archon, he knew she was being truthful.
"Well, it's working properly," Rex said, and deep in his mind, he could see Guizhong shaking her head at him. Speaking of which, where was that woman?
In a far-away bush, Guizhong poked her head out followed by Miko as they both held bushes on the sides of their heads to watch the two.
"May I?" The Tsaritsa asked and the young man nodded. Standing up and dusting his clothes, the young man watched as the Tsaritsa wore a pair of glasses as she looked at the machinery in interest.
Saying nothing, the former Geo Archon pulled a pair of tea cups from his inventory and a teapot. Gently starting a fire, the young man started to make some tea for the two, using some techniques Rita had taught him.
As the young man made his tea, he was unaware of the Cryo Archon watching him do so with interest. Gently, the Cryo Archon brushed her hair and took a seat, eagerly watching the former archon do his work. It was oddly relaxing for the Cryo Archon to do so.
Noticing this, Rex let a small smile form on his face, while it was a warm day, having the Cryo Archon radiate some of her ice-cold powers made it more bearable. Pleasant even. Once the tea was done, the young man poured it into a teacup before handing it to her. It was an ice-cold Lemon Iced tea, how he did it was a secret but hey, he was in a world where gods exist so why not?
"Thank you," the Tsaritsasaid with a smile, taking the beverage with a smile as the young man went back to working with the Ballista. "You improved the mechanism," The Cryo archon said as she looked at him.
"I did, fortifications were needed," Rex said with a smirk. "And fortifications were made,"
a soft peal of giggle escaped the Archon's lips. "That was bad,"
"Shut up, I'm not used to this," he said with a smile as he looked at her.
