"Will you stop being a nervous wreck?" Rex said as he finished his calligraphy session, letting the ink dry as he looked at his 'mother' pace back and forth. The young man had easily adjusted to Liyue in a few days. He even managed to earn some money by creating plans to improve the buildings of Liyue and he hasn't even been in the country for a week!
"I can't help it! What would I tell the others?!" Guizhong whined as she held her head in confusion.
"I dunno," Rex replied as he looked at her.
"Rex-nii-chan," Yae Miko cried out as she entered the room. "Can you tell me another story?"
Speaking of which, it seemed like just like his brother, he has adopted a pink-haired girl as a little sister.
"Sure," Rex said with a soft smile as he patted a cushion beside him. "You can listen if you want," Rex said as the door "Siscon,"
Hearing those words, Raiden Ei, scowled as she entered the room.
"Lady Guizhong, insect," Ei said, looking at the former archon coldly.
"I miss Mei," Rex whispered as he looked at the woman in front of him.

Makoto giggled softly as she watched Rex bond with Miko.
The enigmatic young man and guest were good at keeping her entertained, not just that, he was also a skilled artisan. Speaking of which, the deity of transcience smiled as she finished analyzing the bow with a smile on her face. It was a work of art and it reeked of primordial magic, one that she was not aware of.
"That's not his best work," Guizhong said with a smile as she watched Makoto hold the bow close to her chest as she approached her.
"Oh?"
"His best work is something I may never be able to duplicate," Guizhong said with a smile on her face. "A work of art,"
"What is it, lady Guizhong?" Makoto asked, curious about the magnum opus of her guest. Intelligent purple eyes glinted with curiosity only to be met by a mischievous grin.
"A throne," Guizhong said with an ominous smile.

"So, why are we here?" Rex asked as he walked beside Miko, the look-alike of his little sister, and smiled as she held his hand as they walked.
"I want to buy Makoto a present," Miko said as the two walked the streets of Inazuma. The young man wore his inverted colored clothes similar to Otto Apocalypse's attire.
"Uh-huh?"
"Ei too!" Miko said with a smile as the two paused by a shop.
Unknown to them, they were being observed by Kitsune Saiguu and Ei.

Inside a ship on route to Liyue,
Rex hummed as he looked at the moon of Teyvat under the night sky, remembering his dear friend.
"Cruz-kun?" Makoto's voice brought him out of his thoughts. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, Makoto," Rex said as he looked at her.
"Do you like the moon?" Makoto asked and Rex finally noticed how she had her hair in a ponytail.
'I have a sneaking suspicion,' an image of his adoptive mother appeared in his mind.
"Uhm... is it too much?" Makoto asked, looking away, reminding him of Mei.
"It suits you," Seeing his genuine smile made Makoto's lips twitch to a smile. "And yes, I like the moon. The moon really is beautiful,"
"Be careful, Rex-Kun," Makoto said, a teasing edge. "Ei might get angrier at you if she heard that,"
"Wait... goddamn it!" Rex said, remembering how many times he got in trouble with either Kiana or Mei when he said that... or the time he watched as Reve was hunted down by a thirsty and zesty Rita. Good times.
"I know," Makoto said with a smile as she looked at the moon. "Why do you like the moon?"
Blue eyes filled with mischief appeared in his mind as a girl with white hair hummed as she danced by herself while watching her.
"Who knows," Rex replied as he shackled the memories, "Shouldn't you be asleep?"
"I can't sleep... can you play for me?" Makoto asked, looking at her friend with hopeful purple eyes. The young man sighed as he grabbed his instrument, a simple acoustic guitar. As the Archon and Herrscher enjoyed the music, Guizhong smiled as she watched the two with a smile on her face. Sure, it was a bit unsightly for her to recommend Makoto to him due o her resemblance to his beloved's girlfriend...
wondering why the music stopped, Guizhong entered the deck, and a smile formed on her face. She must have been lost in her thoughts for a while.
Makoto sat beside Rex, her back on the wall of the ship with her head on the Former Archon's shoulder. Rex sat straight, holding to his guitar, his head resting on top of her own.
"How cute," Guizhong whispered as she pulled a blanket out of her inventory and wrapped them around the two.

Rin Crozzo, youngest Crozzo through adoption, paused as she blocked Reve's blow.
"You okay?"
"Reve! I feel the bloodline being secured!" Rin said as she turned around, only to tilt her head in confusion. Something felt wrong... she loved her adoptive older brother yet... he was not the one she was involved with things like this.

"Greetings, Electro Archon," Rex Lapis said, greeting Makoto as they finally arrived in Liyue.
"Rex Lapis, it is a pleasure to see you." Makoto greeted back with a smile as she smiled at the Geo Archon before noticing how he and Rex acted. It was barely noticeable yet. "Well, I hope I am not overstepping my boundaries but I brought a guest,"
"No! Don't you dare!" A familiar voice for Rex Lapis echoed in the air as Madame Ping's eyes widened.
It can't be.
"Quit being a wuss and get out there!" The voice of the former Geo Archon echoed in the air. "Okay, fine! Adeptus art: Yeet!"
"You little shit!" Suddenly, the lithe form of Guizhong was flung out of the ship and into the docks until., "Morax!" Guizhong cried out with a smile and Morax moved. Eagerly opening his arms, the Geo Archon caught his dearest friend and wrapped his arms around her, afraid of letting her go lest she disappears forever.
"How?" Morax whispered as he looked at Guizhong. The deity of dust offered her dear friend a smile.
"I had some help," Guizhong said with a smile as Morax felt his gnosis twitch. It sang happily as Rex Crozzo exited the ship, a fresh layer of dust on his clothes. The current geo archon met the eyes of his future successor.
"Ganyu! You got so big and beautiful!" Guizhong said with a smile, hugging her surrogate little girl with a smile.
"Yeah, unlike you," Rex grumbled, only to be buried underneath a stone stele made of dust much to Ei's delight and Makoto's giggle.
