Hello friends, at this point I have been gone for a couple of years without so much as a word and for that I do apologize. I do plan on adding more chapters to this series, however, I would like to provide an explanation to my disappearance as well. Growing up I always knew writing had came easy to me. In the same breath, I never wanted to be an author.
Although, that quickly changed because of this app. It went from something that was used to spend my free time to something I wanted to do all day every day.
It was this story in particular if I'm being honest. Growing up I never felt heard. I suppose that's why my first dream job was to be a music artist; it's something you hear.
However, I had written these chapters and published them thinking not a soul would see them. That was not the case.
Right now the readers count sits at 3,000. I'm sure it doesn't seem like a very big number but put those 3,000 people in one room or in one building and your mind will change.
This single story showed me that I could indeed be heard with my writing. It gave me a new perspective on my own abilities and my own life. This story has changed the course of my existence.
The past couple of years that I have been gone; I flipped my entire world upside down. I went from an aspiring music artist to an aspiring author in the blink of an eye.
I began working on full sized novels and early this year published my very first book! I use a pen name these days, (Nana Kemuri) but given this is the platform I started on I want you guys to know it all to the fullest extent.
My first published book is called
"The Creatures of American Science"
This book is the first book of many. An entire book series is planned to follow so I can guarantee more of my work is on the way.
My new book is released globally online. You can find it online at Barnes and Nobel, Amazon, or on my website nanakemuri.com
I wanted to provide this explanation not only because you all deserve one, but because I owe each and every one of you the biggest thank you I can offer. I would never be sitting here, a published author, if it weren't for the lot of you.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so so much. I love and appreciate you all.
