Love Hurts

You were on your first solo hunt. All by yourself.

It was a simple shapeshifter and you had your silver blade secured in your hand.

You walked through the halls of the place he called home.

You heard a sound behind you and quickly turned around expecting the shifter.

But nothing was there.

He took a deep breath, just your min playing tricks on you.

You continued through the beat up and abandoned house and ended up in what looked like a kitchen.

Your heart skipped a beat when you saw him with his back turned.

You hid on the wall and slowed your breathing to get the job done.

You started taking steps being careful not to step on anything.

As soon as you were within stabbing range, the shifter turned around and knocked your knife out of your hand.

You decided now would be a good time for some fighting and bawled your hands into fists.

The shifter was in the form of a guy in his thirties.

He was at least a couple inches taller than you with broad shoulders and big muscles.

You tried your best but got knocked around a lot.

Blood was everywhere from on your lips to staining your jeans.

You could feel bruises forming and you wanted to throw up from all those hits to the stomach.

When you fell to the floor, your blade was within arms reach and you grabbed it in one swift motion.

You pulled yourself up with the energy you had and punctured the knife right in his stomach.

As his body seemed to loose the life, you collapsed back on the floor again.

Your breathing started getting slow and heavy.

"Cas," you started. "Castiel!"

You had known him for what seemed like forever and he would always answer your prayers and come heal you.

"Castiel. I'm hurt and I need your help," you begged.

He appeared right in front of you. He examined you before walking over to your forehead.

There was a tingling sensation and then the pain was gone.

You'd done this so many times nothing was new to you. Cas was pretty much always saving your ass.

"Thanks Cas, what would I do without you," you smile as you stand up.

"You would be in pain and on the verge of death if it wasn't for me," he replied.

Wait? Was that supposed to be sarcastic? Did the angel just learn the sassiest language?

"Yeah that's for sure," you started walking out of the building to your car and Cas surprisingly followed you.

You got inside your car and Cas was in the passenger seat.

"So what's new with you?" you asked starting the engine.

Small talk with an angel, that's something new.

"Nothing really (y/n)," he answered.

It was a quiet car ride back to the motel.

You went inside and got ready to sleep.

As you walked over to the bed, Cas was still sitting at the table in one of the chairs watching you.

"Seriously Cas what's up?" you asked.

If he followed you back to the motel then something must have been on his mind.

"(y/n) what were you thinking?" he asked almost too soft for you to hear.

"What?" you asked.

"You walked in there all alone. He was clearly bigger than you and you got yourself beat up. Do you even care about your own safety? What if I wasn't there? What would you then? Just lie there and die and leave me all alone?" he ranted.

You could see the hurt in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Cas," you apologize.

"Sorry isn't enough (y/n). How many times has this happened? How many times was I there to clean up your mess? You have to be more careful. Please," he begs the end.

"Okay Cas, I'll be more careful I promise. If it makes you this upset I won't be as reckless. You can come on hunts with me and take care of the big stuff if you think I can't," you reasoned.

He seemed to like the idea since his face softened up a bit.

"That sounds like a very good plan," he agreed.

You walked over to him and pulled him into a hug.

His hands moved all around your lower back while you surrounded his muscles.

He pulled back and you instantly kissed him. It started out slow. Your lips were softly on each others and moving together perfectly. You both gradually started applying more force. You slipped your tongue in his mouth and traced over his teeth. You grabbed the collar of his coat, pulling him closer to you. Cas was a very good kisser. His hands moved all through you hair and eventually made his way down to your hips. He grabbed them firmly and ran his hands around your torso and waist.

That's it. You wanted clothes off.

You used both hands to grab the giant coat and threw it on the floor behind him. He swiftly grabbed your shirt and pulled it over your head in one quick motion. Unhooking your bra took even less time. You had untied his tie and pulled away the black jacket beneath it. You started unbuttoning the shirt and your fingers ran over his chest in the process. His fingers ran through the belt loops of your jeans and played with the button and zipper before sliding them down your legs. You slid his pants off his legs and he shook them off.

You continued your kissing until you fell in bed and he was on top of you.

You rolled around a bit before Cas started dripping over to your collarbone.

He left sweet and wet kisses down the side of your neck and a hickey on your collarbone.

Your breathing was heavy but Cas and anyone else could sense you were loving this.

After some wonderful sex, you were sharing the covers.

He had his arm above his head with his hand under his head. You were on his chest feeling more relaxed than ever.

"I'm sorry. I really am," you apologized once again.

"I think you made up for it," he smiled.

"It's just...I don't want to loose you," he explained.

"I know. I don't want to go either," you agreed.

"(y/n), make me a promise. Promise me you'll be like the ocean and come back to me even when they pull you away," he asked.

"Yeah Cas, I'll do it. I'm never gonna leave you. No matter what I always come back to you," you promised.

"Good, now I think we both need some sleep," he decided.

"You don't sleep," you remembered.

"I'll close my eyes while holding you close to me, same thing."

"Good plan," you said closing your eyes.
