After a week of processing his emotions and mourning the end of his relationship with Kairi, Katsuki knew he couldn't avoid the inevitable any longer. He needed to have a conversation with Izuku.

Katsuki contemplated a text or call, or would he wait until he ran into him again? He felt like a text was a little ingenuine, but then again they had barely spoke in 5 years, would a phone call be too forward? He couldn't figure out the best way to approach this. He texted the group chat with his friends.

With a deep breath, he opened the group chat with Jirou, Mina, Denki, and Eijiro and typed out his question, this was weird for him. Asking for advice? Who was he? Was this situation making him this uneasy?

Katsuki: Hey. Help. I need input. Should I call him, send a text, or wait until we run into each other again? I don't want to fuck this up even more."

He hit send and anxiously awaited the responses from his friends. Soon enough, their messages started pouring in, each offering their own perspective on the matter.

Jirou: Personally, I think a phone call would be the most direct and sincere way to reach out. It shows that you're willing to have a conversation and that you value your relationship with Izuku.

Mina: I agree with Jirou. A phone call allows for a real-time conversation where you can convey your emotions and intentions more effectively. It shows that you're taking this seriously.

Denki: Hmm, I understand the importance of a phone call, but a text message could be a good initial step. It gives Izuku the space to process and respond at his own pace. Plus, you can carefully choose your words to make sure you express yourself clearly.

Jirou: Denki shut up. Izuku could also ignore the text.

Denki: But it at least gives him the option! Maybe he doesn't want to talk to Katsuki.

Katsuki: Great. Thanks.

Jirou: I'm just saying

Eijiro: I think a phone call would be best, bro. It's more personal and direct, and you can have a proper conversation. Plus, it shows your willingness to put in the effort to resolve things.

Katsuki read through each response, weighing the pros and cons of each suggestion. He appreciated his friends' different perspectives, knowing that they all had his best interests at heart. After a moment of consideration, he made his decision.

Katsuki: I'll call him.

Jirou: Good luck, Katsuki! Just be honest and open, and hopefully, things will work out between you two, keep us updated though!!!

Mina: You got this, booboo! Stay true to yourself and let him know how you feel. We're here to support you. team bakudeku!!

Denki: Best of luck, dude!

Eijiro: You've got the heart of a lion, Katsuki. Just be genuine and listen to Izuku. I know you can handle this. We're here for you, no matter what.

Katsuki paced his room, with his phone in hand, Izuku's contact open. He unblocked the number, he doesn't even remember blocking it. The anxiety of his number being blocked suddenly hit him, but it was a reality he would have to face if it was.

"You can do this." Katsuki whispered to himself. With that, he hit call.
