"Come on you can't ignore me forever. That's not what best friends do." Xander says. I sigh because he's right. It's now Tuesday. I ignored his texts Sunday and even him in person on Monday.

I'm just embarrassed with myself. But I thought about it a lot and I just have to make sure he doesn't touch me again and I'll be fine. The only problem is I want him to. I just want to feel that feeling again and I wish Brody made me feel that way.

"Come on. I have a treat for you if you stop ignoring me." He says making me look at him. He has a small box from the bakery in his hands and I want to know what's inside so bad. He smiles at me and my heart warms. "I want to talk to my bestie, so please stop ignoring me." He says softly.

"Only because I get sweets." I say as I take the box making him chuckle. When I open the box it's an Oreo donut and a chocolate chip muffin. Oh yum! I take the muffin out and start to eat it moaning at the taste. He chuckles from beside me. It's now third period and we've got free time before the bell rings. Xander missed the first two this morning.

"Now that you aren't ignoring me, I need your opinion." He says making me look at him intrigued.

"Oooo okay what's up?" I ask as I turn my body towards him so I am focused. He smiles at me as he turns more towards me.

"I have a pair of friends. They dated a about two years ago. They broke up and even after all this time he wants her back. He is annoyingly obsessed with her." He chuckles. "And since they are both close friends I don't want to be in the middle anymore. I have no idea what to do." He says. That sounds super messy and complicated honestly.

"Does the girl want to be with him?" I ask genuinely curious.

"Yes, she's just as obsessed with him, except she has major trust issues and won't just give in. She avoids him like the plague." He sighs like he is tired of this. "I just hate hearing about it but I don't want them to think they can't talk to me or come to me anymore. It's exhausting" after finished my muffin and thinking I reply.

"Well why don't you tell them that?" I ask making him look at me with wide eyes. "If they are really your close friends just tell them you don't want to hear about that relationship. That you can't be in the middle." I say, I mean they have to understand that.

"I tried that." He says making me frown. "I told you they are obsessed."He stresses.

"We'll why don't you start hanging out with them together? It will force them to be around each other and maybe they can talk or work it out." I suggest. Honestly I don't know what to do in this situation. "You can do it in a group too so there isn't so much pressure." I add.

"Yeah maybe. I'll think about that." He says making me smile that I could help out even just a little. The bell rings before either of us can say anything else. I grab my bag and we walk out together. Neither of us say anything but that's okay.

Looking around I notice no one is walking in front of us. Everyone coming towards us moves to the edge of the hall away from us. That's odd. I look to my right and sigh. Xander never walks right next to me. He always walks slightly behind me. Enough where I can see him but he's not right there.

"Arabella!" Someone shouts from down the hallway. I don't know why but it startles me and I stop walking all of a sudden. I thought that Xander was going to run into me but he doesn't surprisingly.
