"HELLO?"

in a little white house in a small neighborhood in Mystic falls stood a teenaged girl. her honey blonde hair tucked away from her face as she held the house phone up to her ear. she was almost supernaturally pretty. with her button nose, and the freckles that coated her cheeks. her soft, silky voice reached the speaker, and her thin eyebrows were lifted with curiosity as she awaited for a response. it was late at night, the sun had tucked itself away and allowed the moon to take its place and illuminate the night sky, accompanied by an ocean of stars.

it was a restful night, the streets of the small town named mystic falls were empty, all that was heard was the soft singing of the crickets that hid within the shaved turf.

Julia Monroe was her name. her soft exterior could make anyone give her a smile. the girl was kind, and rather well known around Mystic High, having previously been romantically involved with a boy on the football team.

"who is this?" the voice that came from the other end of the phone was low and gravelly. Julia frowned at the question, tugging on the hem of her lavender sweater.

"well, you're the one who called me. who are you trying to reach?"

"who's number is this?"

"well, what number are you trying to reach?" Julia inched once more, a soft grin in her face as she wrapped her arms around her stomach. there was a beat of silence on the other line, and Julia absentmindedly pinched her together eyebrows as she failed to pinpoint the identity of the speaker.

"I don't know."

"well, I think you have the wrong number," her voice was soft and kind and luring.
