Between the incident at the Lestrange's Spring Ball and the way Regulus was treated at Hogwarts, which Adira recently found out about, Regulus was pulled out of school all together to stay with Adira full time.
As ordered, Walburga and Orion Black disappeared from England, the entire Black inheritance going to Sirius. He made sure Regulus got his half, set aside in a Gringotts account for the future.
Sirius used a small part of his inheritance to buy a large house. A mansion, more like.
Adira knew that Sirius would never leave his Marauders. They'd made a compromise at the beginning of their arrangement that they'd find a larger house suitable for everyone. In time, if the Marauders chose to leave, they'd simply leave the rooms for times that they'd visit.
They still kept the flat, just for remembrance purposes.
It was a beautiful Mansion with more rooms than they could do anything with. Everyone got their own room, including the Slytherin members of the Guard. The only Slytherins actively staying in the house were Pandora and Regulus.
Pandora had been itching to leave Lestrange Manor with her brother breathing down her neck about getting married. Adira provided the perfect opportunity. In addition, Adira included that if Pandora would not move in that she'd simply go mad surrounded by so much testosterone.
Bitty and Kreacher joined them in the newly proclaimed Guard Manor. Adira attempted to pay Kreacher as she does Bitty. But when he began to bang his head into the wall while calling himself a useless elf, she gave up.
The two elves had actually started to grown sweet on each other. They worked together impeccably well and Bitty taught him a few things about cooking, which he was shit at.
Sirius thought it was gross. Seeing Kreacher all lovey-dovey with another elf. Pandora was obsessed with it.
Arguably the best part of the house was the large property it sat on. It was an island of sorts, surrounded by a glorious lake. They'd chosen it because of how secluded it was, making Full Moons easier to navigate when Moony has so much room to run around in. It also helped because Adira's animagus was such a large dragon. Usually she wouldn't attend moons because she simply didn't fit or would be too noticeable. Here, she didn't have to worry.
Regulus healed with the help of Adira's magic. He'd also received a good reprimand from the Dark Lady due to the fact that he did not tell her of the abuses he'd faced over those two weeks. Well, it didn't matter now anyways. He was with her. He was safe once more.
Since Adira's... run-in with Sirius after the Ball, she hadn't been able to get her mind off of the ecstasy he'd brought her to against that kitchen counter. The worst part was that she had to now anticipate it and writhe over it for the next two weeks.
She decided she needed to vent to someone and Regulus was always the perfect person.
Adira knocked on his bedroom door, but didn't wait for an answer before opening the door and walking inside. "Regulus i need to talk to someo—Holy mother of Morgana."
