New Roommate

Sapphire's POV

I hate sleeping in a room alone. I've gotten so used to sleeping with Jake that it felt safe and comfortable. Sleeping with a teddy bear is not the the same thing. The bear brings comfort for so long.

So I did something really bad. I destroyed my whole room. Valuable things I hidden. I also kinda blamed it on someone from the pack not liking me and did-well whatever was left of my room.

Oops.

Now I'm discussing the renovation of my room and the arrangement of where I'll be sleeping. Perfect thing was Kathy and Cole left for an anniversary vacation and there are no copies of the key. The pack house was full with the only guess room was the one I destroyed.

"You can sleep with me if you'd like." Jake offered seeming hopeful that I'll take his offer.

"And sleep where you cheated on me-no thanks"

He winces like I just slapped him hard. Well not my fault I want to sleep where he had so much fun with my ex-best friend.

Maybe I'll call Hunter. He might have a room.

"I'm just going to give Hunter a call." I walk away not wanting him to try, but fail to convince me and stay with him.

I glance back for just a second and see his sadden with a little bit of anger in his expression.

I need to make this a quick call, my phone was dying.

Ring

Ring

Ring-

"Hello?" I hear Hunters deep voice coming through the phone.

"Hey Hunter, its Sapphire. Um... I was wondering if I could StayWithYouForABit?" I said really fat at the end. I didn't think it would be embarrassing to ask if I could, stay with them.

"Whoa. Saph you need to slow down."

"Can I umm... stay with you for a bit?" I ask my vice suddenly becoming really low.

"Yeah sure. I almost didn't hear you but yes you can. Do you want me to pick you up or...."

"Yes please" I almost plead sounding really needy.

"Of course. Maybe around 8pm? What time do you think?"

"Yes that's perfect."

"Wait there's something you need to know-" I ended the call before he could continue.

It was a reflex thing you know. When you think your done talking but then when your pressing the button they speak.

I tried calling again but my phone died once the line rang.

I'll jus pack, once he gets here he'll tell me what he wanted to say.

The doorbell rang, walking down stairs having all my belonging in a luggage by the foot of the door.

Opening the door I see Hunter there with a small, shy smile on his face.

"Hey I'm all ready." I was really excited. I could finally see his pack. Not only just knowing James.

"You should know-"

"Come on we got to leave before the storm comes in" I rushed him, getting my bags.

"You need to know- wait what storm."

"While on your way here, I turned on the weather channel and saw a storm coming. It's going I hit us pretty bad, so let's go."
