BLOOD SISTER

" Can I ask you a question " I nod while looking at her " When did your affair with Carl start , was it before I went to prison or after I went to prison wich year to be exact? "  I sigh , I wasn't expecting this .

" Is it important?" I ask while trying to dodge the question,  I am not ready to talk about that and I don't think I will ever be ready .

" Yeah it is important to me ,so please don't lie just tell me the truth it is not like I am going to beat you up or something " I swallow while looking at her , her face didn't show any emotions wich is something i am used too . Nthabiseng is good at hiding her emotions, but she couldn't hide them from me back than but things have changed .

" A year after your sentence " I say honestly .

" Why him ?" I shrugged my shoulders " Why him out of all the man out there ?" She ask again still looking at me with that blank look of hers.

" I don't know , he was there for me through out my healing process . He helped me heal and out of all of that we fell in love , and I love him more than you can imagine . Even if I didn't fall for him your wouldn't have found him back becouse surely he would have moved on ." She blinks than stands up .

" I knew that Carl would eventually move on with this life but I didn't think he would move on with my sister , imagine that kind of a betrayal.  Let's hope you won't kill him too , you better transfer those funds sis . " with that she walked out , I sigh as my phone chimes indicating a massage. It is Carl telling me that he will Fatch us tomorrow morning , I can't wait to go back to my place.

I take out my phone and call Nomzamo,  I know she does not sugarcoat but at this point I don't care . I need someone who would be bloody honest with me ,and my therapist is not optional .

Nomzamo: Girl I am ontop of a dick what is it that you want (I laugh a little as I hear shuffles on the back ground )
Me: You are not even panting , are you sure you were riding it right. 
Nomzamo: Mxm talk
Me: My sister hates me ( I hear her sigh )
Nomzamo: what did you do
Me: You know the same old , I don't know how to fix our relationship. 
Nomzamo: There is nothing to fix in your relationship with your sister can I be honest with you ?
Me: please
Nomzamo: If I was your sister i would have beaten you up for bineg a slut than walked out of your life like you don't exist .
Me: Okey
Nomzamo: you destroyed your relationship the minute your fell for her ex fiance by than they where still engaged , what did you expect ? I know Carl would have moved on but she didn't think he would do that with you . You let a colourd man come in your relationship with your sister yes he might be old now but that doesn't mean that he can not  leave your ass and move on with young girls like me , after all he has money he can be a sugar daddy to someone alse and leave you all alone . You let a man interfere in your relationship.
Me: How do I fix all of this .
Nomzamo:I don't know ask your shrink , girl I have to go .

With that she hung up .

I got out of the car than walked inside the yard ,my mom was standing by the door probably wondering who had dropped me off . I walked in  the house and she followed me silently,  I sat down on the couch defeated  to be honest I am dog tired ,and I am not ready for whatever my mom will say .

" Who dropped you off?" She ask as she sees that I am not going to tell her .

" Carl he had also went to see Nthabiseng " I say

" When is she dieing again?" I look at her

" Mama don't say that ,if she wanst my twin one would think that you did not give birth to her " I say and she gives me a side eye  " Will you ever visit her ?" I ask .

" No she is not my daughter anymore ,I don't have a daughter who is a murderer. " I swallow hard as I heard her saying that , it has been five months since my sister got sentenced. 

" This is your opportunity to shine " I kept quiet and looked at her " Carl would be a good husband for you , everyone can see that he loves you the only thing you have to do is to fall for him too before other girls take him " She says

" Mama I wouldn't do that to my sister " I say

" What is the problem you have just started your business , you will be graduating soon don't you think you need a handsome man like Carl . You better play your cards right or you will be single for life .
