BLOOD SISTER

I dropped the bat as I realized what I have done , a lot of blood was coming out from him . I crouched down not touching the blood which was useless becouse I had already stained myself when I was beating him up , I shock his body a little hoping to get a reaction but he remained stiff . What have I done, I sat down on the cold floor than pushed myself till I hit the cupboard.  I held my mouth as I started crying all over again , I should be happy becouse I am officially free from this monster but me bieng free it will results with me going to prison .

I got up I have to act fast before someone comes by and see what I have done,  I walked to the lounge and took my phone. I paused as i looked at my phone ,should I call the police atleast that way I would get a lesser sentence but I can not go to prison I called the only person who I know got my back no Metter what .her phone rang till it took me to voicemail, I tried again and this time she answered

Nthabi: Sis can't we talk later right now I am a little bit busy ( she says as soon as she answered my call .)
Me: I killed him ( I say while sobbing , I heard some shuffles from the phone )
Nthabi: What are you talking about , where are you and why are you crying?
Me: I didn't mean to kill him I was angry and I took the bat and started hitting him , now he is laying on his own pool of blood .
Nthabi : Hey slow down , where are you?
Me: I am at Thabos place  .
Nthabi : Okey I am on my way , don't do anything stay away from the body .

I nodded than hunged up ,I sat there trying to distract myself with the TV but the TV was watching me not the other way around . All of the sudden my body was itchy and my head started to hurt ,I took my bag than took my pills and chewed them , I sat back down while biting my nails . I started feeling light headed and my nerves where slowly calming down , i laid back on the couch as I let the pills do their work .

The door opened and Nthabiseng walked in I just looked at her and than pointed at the kitchen she gave me one look than walked to the kitchen , I followed her than leaned on the wall separating the two room ,she stood there looking at the damage I made with her hands on her hips .she put her hands on her head defeated she turned around and looked at me .

" You are going to jail " She says as she looked at me .

" We can't let that happen " I say while looking at her

" Please Don't tell me you just drank your pills , god i don'tneed that person right now " I smiled a little with a lone tear running down my face .

" What happened , the judge can rule this off as a self defense  " She says .

" He was cooking and I felt all the anger and hate deep inside on me and I acted on my emotions sis , I attacked him while he was cooking " I say ,

" Why would you do that , this is your man he has been with you through thick and thin , why did you do it ?"

" Remember when I got kidnapped " She nodded " He is the one who kidnapped me , he had beaten me up the previous day and i went to the police station to report him . The officer i reported to was actually his friend he never opened a case so he kidnapped me to teach me a lesson ." I say

" Why didn't you tell me?" I shrugged my shoulders

" I was scared , I am still scared " I say while sniffing " Since from I was a kid I have been scared my whole life thinking that if I was kind to the world it would be kind to me ,to this day I am still scared and I think I will be forever be scared " I say , she came to me and gave me a hug , I wiped my tears than stood up , she took out gloves and gave them to me to wear. While I was wearing the gloves she went to my room and took some black clothes for me , she came back and instructed my to wear them .

" We need a carpet and get a sheet " She says while wiping the baseball bat with a cloth , she didn't wear gloves .

" Why aren't wearing gloves ?" She looked at her hands .

" Don't worry about me " she Said as she started pulling the carpet in the lounge,  she came with it and went to take a sheet . We wrapped the body with a plastic than wrapped it with a sheet finishing off with a carpet . We carried the body to the car boot and loaded it , we closed the boot than walked back in and started cleaning the blood . It was already around 12 when we finished cleaning , we got out locked the doors and started to driving where we would be disposing the body hoping that we won't get caught.
