Y/n cried to herself as Miguel left her on the couch while he went to bed.

I stayed on the couch and cried my sad ass emotion self off. Once I stopped, I understood I was just overreacting. I could easily escape this place and go back home.

Truly, it's just that I'm sick of being annoyed by buff every single minute. I just wanna go back home to my regular life.

I slowly sat up and looked around, my eyes darting at any small sound. Nothing was awake but me, and I knew he went to sleep. What a maniac thinking he can keep me here. It's not my fucking home!

Honestly, he has at least 50 screws loose in his brain. Fucking crazy bitch.

I stepped up from the couch, emerging from my pillow fort. My feet tapped against the cool wooden floors as I looked towards a window.

I reached up towards it and yanked at the latch. It was locked. Fuck x9000

Using my claws, I messed around with the latch until I heard a pop. The lock popped open and I quietly placed it on the floor beneath my feet.

I swiftly opened the window, making no sound at all, and hopped on the windowsill.

Looking into the dark night, I breathed in fresh air. The night was crisp and cold, stars littering the black canvas above.

I hopped off the window and landed perfectly on the streets below, the concrete making a thud as I hopped down.

I walked around a bit and started at a small sprint. Nobody was out around this time and I don't blame them. It was pitch dark out, probably midnight for all I knew!

The streets were silent and desert as always as I slid through them. Dirt and pebbles kicking at my feet every now and then.

Putting my hands in my hoodie pocket, I roamed around trying to find Eric's place. Maybe he could help me again. He really is cool and would be a awesome addition to out whacky group.

My smell was good and I could still get a small whiff of the scent. Following the trail, I made it right back to his apartment.

The modern outlook of it sat dull in the street lights, making a shadow look puny.

I hopped up onto the building, climbing with my claws. I stopped at his window from climbing around the backside and tapped it.

The dork was listening to music and reading a comic book. When he saw motion outside his window he stopped to look up.

Pulling his earbuds out, he got up and opened the window.

"Back so soon?"

I rolled my eyes and slid in. He shut it after me and locked it for the night.

"Trust me, this wasn't what I had planned."

He sat back on his bed and put the music away in his drawer, slamming it shut. Eric set down the comic book over on his desk and sat on a chair across from me.

I sat down too.

"So.. what happened?"

I took a breathe before explaining each part. Hand movements, sound effects, and much musical entertainment to show everything.

He blinked all the information given and sat back.

"Bro, he kidnapped you! That's fucked up."

"Language!"

"You swear."

You shrugged.

"True. That's a fair point."

You both sat in thought for a while.

"What if I make you a portal thingy? One of the wristbands that is."

You looked up at him.

"You that smart?"

"I look dumb, but I'm pretty dang smart!"

You snickered as he looked taken back, waving his hands in the air.

"Sorry, sorry! Continue!"

He cleared his throat and continued.

"As I was saying before you rudely interrupted, I could make you a wristband to teleport. I'm good with tech and even take classes."

You hummed.

"Okay, cool. When would it be done?"

He sat back and thought, hand on his chin with a perplexed look.

"I'd saw a week at most."

"A week!?"

"Yeah, sorry bro. You can stay here for the time being."

You sighed and nodded you head.

At least it was safe here.
