Part 3: Heavenly Ascension

No POV 

We find ourselves following Y/n, who was armed once more, as he stood at the gate that separates The Ark from the Outer Rim. The Outer Rim is best to be considered the slums of the Ark, where the criminals and those who refuse to get an identification chip reside. A lawless place that was left abandoned by the Central Government of the Ark 

A few hours ago

We pick up this flashback with Y/n standing before Ingrid and Andersen after reading the report and demanding the location of the Terrorist group known as Heavenly Ascension, his hair flowing like a fire and allowing them to get a better look at his face and the scar on his left side. But while Ingrid seemed to be alarmed at the angered Y/n, Andersen didn't as he spoke calmly 

Andersen: "You will find them in the Outer Rim, from here. You will head east until you arrive at a large gate. That is where you will find the Outer Rim and that is where you'll find Heavenly Ascension" 

Without saying another word, Y/n left the office, leaving the two high ranking officials on their own as the flashback ended 

Now

We find ourselves back with Y/n as his attention was drawn to a military soldier looking towards him while on the radio. After a few moments, the soldier looked across from his position and towards a control room and nodded, prompting the soldier inside to nod and then press something as the gate opened 

Once it was wide enough for Y/n to fit through without his Death Hauler getting caught, he dashed through the gap, the gate shutting right afterwards 

On the other side, with Y/n, we saw that the place was filled to the brim with buildings that were closely built together and run down. Tight, dark alleyways would provide optimal opportunity for attempted muggings. Everywhere around him was perfect for an ambush, filled with optimal amounts of cover, narrow streets 

Despite all of this, Y/n felt no fear as he walked through the street, the sound of Death Hauler's chains and his footsteps being all that could be heard in the immediate area while gunshots could be heard in the distance

Y/n wasn't the only one in the streets however, as there were people going about their lives until they laid eyes on the behemoth of a man enter their home, the mood plummeting while tensions rose as Y/n stared at each and every one of them 

The wind picked up, one of the vents that provided air to the Outer Rim sputtering as it did so and sent a variety of papers swirling around the place, one of them catching on his leg. Upon looking down at the piece of paper, he saw that it was a propaganda poster, talking about the Central Government's neglect of the Outer Rim and how Heavenly Ascension was the answer 

Seeing the slip, Y/n grabbed it before looking towards a group of three people playing cards with each other and haven't noticed Y/n yet. Seeing as no one else was going to go near him, he approached the trio playing cards 

Right as they were about to reveal their cards, the three were interrupted by Y/n slamming the poster down onto the middle of the table, cracking it and making the three jump in surprise while the cash was scattered to the ground, angering them 

Man 1: "Hey what's the big idea-" 

He cut himself off when he looked at Y/n, seeing how he towered over them all and was armed to the teeth, the other two looking apprehensive at trying to start anything 

Man 2: "H-How can we help you?" 

Y/n then tapped the poster, getting them all to look at it. As they did this, they realized what he wanted and looked back at him, the camera angle changing to show the underside of the table as two of them slowly edged their hands towards their weapons, those being a shotgun and a pistol
