Nikke: Overdose of Victory

Part 4: Warehouse Massacre

No POV 

The sound of a single gunshot was all that could be heard as time seemed to slow down for Crow. She felt the side of her face burning with pain when the bullet whizzed past her face and found its home in the wall of a building located behind the warehouse. Having gone through one Nikke, two humans, the walls of a warehouse, and a stone perimeter wall before finally stopping 

Crow couldn't even have time to react as she suddenly felt Y/n's hand grab her by the throat and lift her up like she weighed nothing. She then suddenly snapped back to reality and started to claw at Y/n's hand in an attempt to free herself. But she found it futile before realizing what he was doing 

Crow's mind: 'A-Am I being used as a human shield?!" 

This was proven correct as Y/n then used his free hand to hold Left Cerberus Head to open fire on the other members of Heavenly Ascension who were forced to fire back. Some bullets struck Crow who couldn't even scream with pain as she felt the bullets pierce her body, while the rest would miss completely 

Once the twelfth bullet struck her body, Y/n then tossed Crow to the side, making her slam into the nearby wall and denting it before hitting the ground and not moving. With both hands free, Y/n then started to sprint around with both Cerberus Heads in hand and started making short work of everyone there

The Nikke teams that were sent by the Big Three were left to watch in horror as they witnessed the brutality that Y/n was inflicting upon them. Whenever one of them would try and attack him while his back was turned, he would grab them before they could strike and simply tear them in half with his bare hands before returning to shooting 

Other times, he would slam the cannon barrels of the Death Hauler into them, pinning them to the ground before firing, the blast shattering the ground and reducing the victim to a bloody mess

If they were too far away for him to get his hands on them, he would alternate between just shooting them, or firing a chain from the Death Hauler that would impale them, and drag them closer to be finished off. Or to the Victim's terror, bring Y/n to them

Others would try and fire rockets at him, but those would be redirected back at the original shooter when Y/n spun Death Hauler around as soon as the rockets were close

Maiden: "Just who the hell is this guy?" 

Maiden asked from around the corner of the building as they watched the massacre, just like the others. But while Matis were watching from above, Laplace took notice of the spot Crow was last left after Y/n used her as a meat shield. But instead of the corpse of Crow, all she saw was the bloody trail before spotting as the rumored leader dragging herself away from the scene with one arm 

Laplace: "Matis! Crow is trying to get away!" 

 Hearing that she was alive still, the others looked shocked before they too spotted her as she rounded the corner of the warehouse building 

Drake: "How the hell is she still alive?!" 

Maxwell: "She's resilient, I'll give her that. But how do we get to her? That's across the battlefield and we can't call Syuen, she's still in surgery so we can't get the command to use force" 

Laplace: "Just follow my lead! While Y/n...distracts the guards... we will move in and apprehend the key suspect in Heavenly Ascension's chain of command. Hero Leap!" 

Maxwell: "Laplace, wait-"

With that last shout and ignoring her teammate, she then leapt from the roof of the building and onto the ground. Something that was not unnoticed by some of the Heavenly Ascension members that were somehow still standing
