The last few weeks is a little bit of a daze for me. I spent my time at work trying not to be affected by the fact that Jimin works above me, the evenings and nights are spent with him at my place, watching movies, eating food and staying up way to late, being tangled up in my bed.
Jimin is caring, more so than I could have ever imagined. We have learnt all about our families, past relationships and life goals. I swear I could listen to his voice forever when he talks about his brothers silly closeness and the life they live together and somehow I seem to fit right in between all the madness.
I shiver slightly as I stand behind my desk and pull my arms across my chest. It's been raining heavily for a few hours now and from what I can see, it wont be stopping any time soon. I press the bottom on the lower side of my screen before I grab my purse and gold umbrella.
"Do you know how long it's going to be poring like this Mr. Lee?" I walk up to my older friend that's staring out the huge widows a few feet away.
"They issued a warning this morning and it looks like the subways are shutting down." He looks at me with worried eyes and shakes his head in despair. "I hate this kind of weather."
"Me too, but it's only water and before we know it the clouds will clear and the ground will dry." I feel surprisingly optimistic even though I know I have to go a few blocks down to pick up a catering order.
"Where are you going Ms. Woo? At least wait until the rain settles a bit before you go out huh?
"I have to go out and pick up the lunch that the CEO's ordered, the café wouldn't do deliveries right now." I sigh but straighten my back to regain some momentum.
"They are right, you shouldn't go out either my dear!" Mr. Lee grabs at my umbrella in an attempt to keep me in the lobby. His fatherly behavior leaves a smile on my face and I can't help to question if I should go or not.
"No no, I have to go. They specifically asked me to do this. I'll be quick and back before you know it."
The man nods in silence before turning towards me with a stern expression. "Be quick and come right back alright?"
I flick my umbrella open, waive to my colleague and head out the door.
The water instantly gushes into my shoes the moment I step off the pavement. It's pouring down so hard that my vision is limited to only a short distance in front of me. Pools of rain has gathered on the road, making it extremely hard for the vehicles to get around.
On my way to the café I barely meet any people, and for good reason. "I should have stayed inside." I tell myself as I navigate through the gloomy street. After a few minutes I see the small blue windows displaying cakes and all kinds of baked goods. I gather a little bit off speed and take a leap over a big puddle of water while having my eyes fixated on my target. Almost there!

"No, no, no please no. Please no... Please..."
Iseul runs through the long hallways on the second floor while tears are streaming down her face. She trips and bumps into furniture but doesn't care, her body scurries through the building with horrifying images running through her mind. "Where the hell are they!?"
- Two minutes earlier -
"Hello, is this Bo Iseul?"
"Yes, this is she. Who am I speaking to?"
"Hi, this is nurse Yeo at Cheung-An university hospital. I'm calling on behalf of Ms. Woo Y/N."
