She flattened down the wrinkles of her shirt, nervously tapping her fingers against the wall she leaned on. The elevator drowned her in complete silence, no music or even a beeping noise indicating that they reached the floor. Something threatened to crawl out of the darkness and envelop her in despair. Why was she so...afraid?

Ding. The doors slid open to reveal two people.

"Hey, Sera."

Chris waved at her with a small smile. Seeing the sight of someone she cared for gave her a sense of relief. Her irrational nerves from before seemed to fade in an instant. A woman next to him with beautiful features, short brown hair and a strong aura greeted her. It was hard to pull your eyes away from her.

Jill Valentine went inside the elevator.

"Oh yeah, you two haven't met properly, right?" Chris asked first as they waited for the elevator to reach the right floor. "Jill, this is Seraphina Han. She helped me many times with the BSAA. She's one of our best medical help on hand."

Seraphina shook her head at his last comment.

"Not the best, but thanks. I've heard a lot about you, Jill. It's really nice to meet you."

A thought crossed her mind. Another Raccoon City survivor. That night wouldn't leave her memories not matter how hard she tried to forget. Like Claire and Sherry, there was a certain feeling and bond over people that survived that day. As if they were the only people that knew the truth...the one they weren't allowed to say publicly.

"It's nice to meet you too." Jill had a complex expression on her face, a bit unreadable. Seraphina had heard of miss Valentine's honest personality and hardened exterior. Like what Rebecca said, it wasn't far to assume why she became that way. Bioterrorism left a stain on anyone's mind.

The elevator finally opened to the floor and the three entered the room.

"Hey, Jill. Chris."

Claire stood by the side and poured herself a warm cup of coffee but her eyes glimmered when she noticed the person lagging behind them. Her lips curved upward as she couldn't help but smile excitedly as she went up to hug the other person eagerly.

"Seraphina! You're here!" Claire parted from their hug and handed Jill a cup of coffee, which she thanked her for. "I'm so glad you guys are all here. It's been a while. What's shaking up the BSAA these days?"

"Same old thing. Bioterrorists sure are stubborn," Chris said as he took the coffee Claire handed him. He placed one hand on his hip, an expression of slight curiosity on his face. "How are things at TerraSave?"
