The flashlight followed the metal poles on each cell. Dread and guilt seemed like they were leaking out of the darkness and worry nestled it's way in. Beams of light shone around the hall before they spotted three figures sitting down in the dark.

"Chris? Claire!" Leon exclaimed as his eyes wavered nervously. Anxiety bloomed inside his chest as his heart thrummed. He finally spotted Seraphina in a separate cell, who leaned against the wall weakly as she sat the floor. "Are you guys okay?"

"Leon...what're you doing here?" Claire asked, exasperated as her face had an expression of pain. She grimaced as her skin was gradually turning more white and dull. Dark veins rose and bloomed under her skin. Seraphina's eyes fluttered over to the figure right outside her cell as he tried to wring the lock open.

"Be careful." Seraphina told him in a frail voice, her hands shaking as she tried to get closer towards him. Her fingertips just missed the metal bars but Leon reached inside and held onto her hand gently.

"Aren't you happy to see me?" His fingers intertwined with hers tenderly as he tried to give her a reassuring smile. Time seemed to slow yet slip away from her fingers at the same time. If something wasn't done soon, she'd run out of time. Seraphina scoffed at his question, in disbelief he'd crack a joke.

"Sure, I am..." She coughed out.

"Hey, Jill. You're okay." Chris said as Jill bent down to meet him at eye level, eyeing the cell door for a way to unlock it. Not even a key hole to try and unlock. A slight, pained smile left Chris's face. He was clearly so relieved to see Jill alive and right in front of him.

"Oh my god. You're so pale." Jill said with worry and glanced over at the other three. Still no way to wedge themselves in. A short man in the back of the cell in Claire's scurried to see what was going on right in the front. "Claire? Hang in there. Both of you."

"Hurry! Get us out of here!" Tony exclaimed desperately.

"Son of a bitch. Antonio Taylor." Leon narrowed his eyes at the man with glasses. Tony, or what he had just called him—Antonio backed away in fear and trembled nervously. Thanks to what he mentioned much earlier, Seraphina knew exactly what he was talking about and it set off alarms in her head.

Oh, it's this guy.

"What? His name is Davis..." Claire glanced over at them, remembering Antonio's odd behavior from before. A chill of curiosity ran up the air. Multiple eyes landed on the man. Antonio backed away from the cell as if Leon's glare was enough to intimidate him.
