You Complete Me(with Alternate Ending)

Tonight was the Cotillion and everyone was dancing. Evie and Y/N were getting their pictures taken by photographers.

Press 1: Evie, you look beautiful!

Evie: Thank you so much.

Press 2: Did you design your barrette?

Evie: It's beautiful, isn't it? Um, no, it's not my creation. Many of the hair accessories this evening are by a fabulous new designer. Dizzy of the Isles.

Press 3: Y/N, why out of all the girls decided to date Evie?

Y/N: Well, I'll tell you one thing about Evie. She's smart. She's honest. And she completes me. I would be lost without her.

Evie smiles and they kiss.

They go to the dance floor.

Evie: Well, looks like Jay and Carlos finally got themselves a date!

Y/N turns and sees Jay with Lonnie and Carlos with Jane.

Y/N: I just hope things worked out with Mal and Ben?

Evie: I hoped so, too!

They then hear trumpets playing and they see a man at the top of the steps.

Man: The future Lady Mal.

Everyone sees Mal in a blue and yellow dress Evie made her. Mal comes down the steps and everyone claps for her.

Man: King Benjamin!

Ben walked down the crowd and everyone cheered for him. Ben goes over to Mal and bows and she does the same.

Ben: Mal, I wish I had time to explain.

Then Ben looks at the top and everyone sees someone coming in and it was Uma.

Y/N: Uma?

Ben kisses Uma's hand that has the ring Ben gave Mal six months ago at the coronation.

Ben: Sorry. It all happened so fast. Something happened to me when I was on the Isle with Uma. Connection.

Mal: What are you saying?

Ben: I'm saying...

Uma: It was love. It was. I just... I realized how alike Ben and I are, you know?

Ben: We are.

Uma: I know.

Ben: You're so beautiful.

Mal: Ben. Ben. Did you go back for her?

Uma: He didn't have to. I dove through the barrier before it closed and I'm an excellent swimmer, so...

Ben: You are.

Uma: Thank you.

Uma goes to Mal and holds her hand.

Uma: Listen Mal. I just want to thank you. I do. For everything.

Uma hugs Mal and then aparts the hug.

Ben: Don't you see, Mal? You were right. You knew that we were meant to be together. That's why you never told me that you loved me. Thank you.

Mal was speechless when Ben said that and music started playing and Ben and Uma started dancing.

Carlos: Not too thrilled I risked my life for him.

Y/N sees his sister speechless and sad.

Y/N: We're with you, sis.

Jay: Let's get out of here.
