"Your last name sounds like Pizza"

After 12 long hours, and 500 cheesy jokes later we get an announcement.
"Hello passengers, we are 20 minutes away from Boston" the speaker finishes and I puff out a "thank god"
"What did one plate say to the other?" Luke asks me. Yes, I figured out his name was Luke, Luke Hemmings. Believe it or not he actually had it written on his backpack, not much of a mystery now is he. As I, he still doesn't have a clue.
"Uhh stop taking all the spaghetti?" I make a joke out of it and he cracks a smile and sarcastically says,
"Funny! No, it said 'Lunch is on me'" We both started laughing as the people around us glared. 10 minutes pass and we reach our stop. We grab our bags and hop off.
"Where to first?" He asks and I look at him and smile,
"Starbucks" I grin and pull him along as he groans. We exit the Subway station and locate the nearest Starbucks. I get in line as Luke waits at a table.
"What will you be having today?" The barista names Janice asks me,
"Uh a Venti Peach Green iced tea lemonade with 3 extra pumps of raspberry syrup please" I smile as she writes on the cup.
"Your name please?" She asks and I scatter my brain for a second,
"Uh.. Beth" I stutter out and she writes it down on the cup. She tells me the total and I hand her the money.
"Okay Beth, your drink should be ready soon!" She gives me a big smile, everyone here is so happy.
I walk back to the table as Luke is scrolling on his phone.
"I found a plane to Switzerland, tonight at 11." He tells me as he sips his free water he got from the side while I was ordering.
"Great. we'll buy tickets up front there" I tell him as Janice shouts "Beth!" letting me know my drink is ready. I go up and grab my drink, on the way back I grab my straw and sit down at the table and take a sip. Luke is grinning at me like a Cheshire Cat.
"You're name is Beth?" He smirks like he just hit gold, I think of what to say quickly and reply,
"Took you long enough" I smile at him,
"Ha Beth! I like that name" He tells me. Too bad it's not my actual name. He can't know my name.
"Now I have to figure out your last name" He tells me, boy I'll be lucky if I can remember my own last name, after telling people lies of what it is. I smile at him and he stands up.
"I have a friend here in Boston, we're gonna meet up with him. He's gonna lend me some cash and he's gonna drive us to the airport. He said he's on his way here now." I nod my head understanding, I should've bought a sandwich because I just now realized how hungry I am.
"Here, let's go stand outside" Luke tells me, as he picks up his and my bag, I blush. We wait outside for about 10 minutes when Luke nudges me in the stomach and says,
"There he is" I take in a deep breathe, feeling the pain from the iron coming back from last night and my teeth clench. Luke doesn't realize it as he's already walking to the car. I quickly lift up my shirt to where it exposes my belly button, where my burn is. I need to go to the hospital, I know it. It's going to get infected if I don't. I'll talk to Luke about it later. I follow him to his friends car and hop in.
"Calum this is Beth, Beth this is Calum" He smirks at me, because he knows my 'name'.
I wave at Calum,
"Hi I'm... Beth" He sends me back a smile.
"Where to?" Calum asks us both and I immediately reply,
"The hospital!" Luke gives me a strange look,
"Why the hospital? Are you okay?" He immediately scoots next to me holding my arm. I reply by lifting up my shirt and close my eyes. No one says anything.
"Is it that bad?" I squint, not wanting to know the answer.
"Did your dad do this?" He asks balling his fists together. I had informed him all about what my father had done to me all these years on the subway.
"It doesn't matter, but I think I should see the doctor" Calum agrees and we go straight to the hospital. I look over at Luke and can practically see fume coming out of his head.
"Hey are you okay?" I ask him rubbing his arm.
"If I ever see your Father, I will kill him" he looks me dead in the eye, his face completely still. I keep a straight face as well,
"I'll help you" I mutter to him and he looks forward. We reach the hospital and we all get out. I go up to the front as the boys stay behind me,
"Name?" The lady asks,
"Beth...Fields" I tell her and she writes it down on a clipboard.
"Why do you need to be seen?" She asks me and I reply by lifting up my shirt. She keeps a straight face and writes more on her clipboard.
"The doctor will see you shortly. Take a seat in the waiting room" She tells me and I nod and walk to the boys. I sit down with them and Luke still looks pretty pissed off.
"Luke calm down, it's okay"
"It's not okay he hurt you" He holds his chin up with his palm.
"It's a usual thing he did, except I didn't think he'd go this far. Ever." I frown and start to think about Michael. My whole relationship with him was a lie, even he didn't know my real name. I have so much trouble letting people in. I've known Michael since I was 9, and we were best friends. Even I couldn't let him in.
"Beth Fields" The lady calls my name and I stand up and Luke's eyes brighten.
"Fields! Beth Fields!" He nearly shouts and I giggle.
"Keep it down" Calum hits his head and they walk behind me into the room.
"Hello Beth, I'm Dr Peesa" He speaks and Luke and Calum are sitting in the corner giggling. I look at them and so does the Doctor.
"What's so funny?" Dr Peesa asks them.
"Oh nothing. It's just your last name sounds like Pizza" I glare at Luke as him and Calum start laughing again.
"I can assure you, it is Peesa, Not Pizza" Dr Peesa coldly tells them. I mouth "shut the fück up" and give them a warning look and they snap out of it.
"Okay Beth let's take a look" The Dr instructs me to take my shirt off and I obliged. Having 2 teenage boys in the room didn't help because they were oogling at my chest. But once Luke saw the burn he immediately went cold again. The Dr checks it and once he's done I put my shirt back on.
"Well Miss Fields, you have a 3rd degree burn. I will prescribe ointment for you to use. As for the scaring, yes there will be a noticeable scar. But maybe you can try some scaring ointment to make it fade. As of today you are done." He finishes writing on his clipboard and we exit the hospital.
"This way Beth Fields" Luke puts his hand on my back and leads me to Calum's car. I could get used to this boy.

a/n yes surprise the girl is the mystery this time instead of the boy wow! And her name is a secret for a reason and you won't find out her actual name until the end of the story blah blah blah, do you guys have any guesses on her actual name? I already know it. I wonder if any of you guys can guess it haha
