I was trembling and about to fall, Rishi came at same time and caught me. I was sweating profusely and unable to react anything.
“Why him after this long time.” This was all running in my mind. Rishi gave me a sequaze on my hand and told me to go in. I nodded my head and went to receptionist, I told her about my appointment and showed my offer letter.
She told me to go to 12th floor and showed the way to lift. When I entered 12th floor, I bumped into someone. “What is this bumping into someone, today day was not good for me.” I thought in my mind and looked up to see who it is. Before I could say anything, I heard a familiar voice.
Someone:-“ hey, Maya are you alright, did you get hurt, I am so sorry.”
Maya:- “ it’s ok, Mr. Malhotra I am alright I am so sorry I didn’t see you.”
Mr. Malhotra:- “ anyways, welcome to family, I was about to pick you up, thanks a lot for accepting my request and joining our company. Come I will introduce you with the team and your leader.”
I nodded my head and he took we to a meeting room where all the team and my boss is waiting.
Third person pov:-
All team members and their leader are eagerly waiting for their new member, their leader’s personal assistant.
“ boss has never accepted anyone to be as his assistant, he always did his work by himself. On top of that she was new to industry and worked only in one project, what’s so special about her.” These are the thoughts running in every one’s mind, their chain of thoughts broken when the door of meeting room opened revealing their CEO along with a girl, whom they assumed to be their leader’s assistant.
Mr. Malhotra:- “ Good morning everyone I know you are waiting for your leader’s assistant, so here she is, Ms. Maya Sharma, she was a post graduate worked in many projects during her graduation and post graduation, but left due to her personal issues, now I glad to announce that she had accepted to work with us and resume her career, welcome board Ms. Maya.”
Maya:- “ Thank you Mr. Malhotra, pleasure is all mine to work with your company and Mr. Rishi, I heard a lot about this team hope we have a great journey ahead and if I make any mistake please forgive me and help to learn from it. Thank you all.”
Rishi:- “ welcome to team Ms. MAYA SHARMA. This is Divya she will explain you about our and all. After that please come to my cabin , I will tell you about my schedule and all.” He turned to Divya and said “ show her cabin and explain about her work.”
“yes sir.” They told and everyone dismissed back to their work.
At cafeteria:-
Person 1:-“ man seriously, I thought our new team member is a dumb person, but she seems to be a smart person and had a lot of experience.”
Person 2:- “ here look at this, when I saw her resume, I remember that I had a friend who studied their so I asked him about her. He told that she was favorite student of professor Pratap Singh and also gold medalist.”
Person 1:- “ what is it true? No wonder why our boss selected her. Let’s go to work.”
Person 2:- “ yeah let’s go, if boss see us gossiping around we are done.”
They both discussed about their new colleague and then went back to work unaware of the fact that someone is secretly listening to their conversation in same cafeteria.
Maya’s pov:-
I was so nervous to meet my new colleagues, thanks to Mr. Malhotra he made my tension low, he himself introduced me to the team. I hope I can easily get along with them. Divya showed me my cabin as per her BOSS’S order. I can’t understand what happened to him suddenly he was becoming like a stubborn person
Divya:- “ mam sir told you to come to his cabin he will tell you about his schedule and all.”
Maya:- “ thank you divya. I will go now, bye see you later.”
At RISHI’s cabin:-
Rishi’s Pov:-
“I still can’t believe that it’s him after longtime and on top of that he is the project manager of other company of our new project. I need to protect her what ever it is, and on top of that she didn’t let me reveal our relationship to anyone. I can’t understand this girl in my life time. I will protect her by any means but I need to know does he remember her or not.” I was thinking suddenly there was a knock on the door, I asked the person to come.
“ Ho, welcome Ms. MAYA SHARMA." . . . . . . . . . . . . . So why did Rishi call her MAYA SHARMA every time in office, was he angry or what happened and was the person that our Maya bump into, that made even our Rishi worry, comment and tell ur opinion. . . . . . . .
